We loved the vibe of this whole hotel: the very welcoming hosts, the way it’s decorated with antiques, the delicious breakfasts in Edie Mae’s Cafe in the mornings. It was a great base for exploring the Powell River area, and we highly recommend staying at The Old Courthouse!

This place is awesome! It reminds me of Fawlty Towers in all the right ways. I showed my extended family photos of the hotel, and they all wished they had booked here. They give you a key! An actual physical key! Loved it.

Overall a nice room and kind staff, a bit noisy but not unexpected with how old the building is. Was a bit disappointed when we found someones broken off fake nail in our bed and the sheets with some stains. Everything else was very nice and organized. Hubby loved the new shower!

My daughter and I stayed here while in PR for a hockey tournament, and we loved it!! Room was clean and pretty. The charging cubes in the nightstands were a hit, and the little candies made our day!! Loved the good pressure in the shower, and the bathroom was nice and clean too. Staff was great. Bed was comfortable, and we loved the pillows. Will totally stay again if we have to go back for more hockey in the future.
