This is our 12th year short-term renting this apt. It is our most popular and favourite apt. You can rely on solid, professional and courteous treatment.

This 4 room apt. is located just 3 blocks from the heart of Prague’s historic center -- old town square. Private and quiet, it fronts on a garden and adjacent arcade and loggia. It is next to the small and silent, misty winding streets of the old town, as well as blocks away from the most popular nightspots and many of the city’s best restaurants.

The apartment is fully renovated and fully furnished. One bedroom has a king-sized bed, and the master bedroom has a super-king-sized bed which separates to 2 single beds, plus a living room (with sofa bed) and a kitchen. The living room and master bedroom look to the garden, where it is also possible to sit and relax or eat. The metro is a 5 min. walk. The area is very safe.

The house dates back to gothic times, and has historic details and a magnificent hand-carved late renaissance balustrade in the entry of the building. The city's most popular and visited places -- the Charle's bridge, old town square, the great Parizska street, and Wencelslaus square (shopping district) are all minutes away by foot.

The apt. comfortably sleeps up to 2 couples, and there are also numerous sofa beds for children or guests.

Absolutely superb! We loved our stay. Our host was exceptional - helpful at every point and to stay in such a beautiful part of the city in someone’s home was truly an honour and a blessing. The host has made their place somewhere you want to come back to. It was a pleasure to return to after a day of exploring, and it is so peaceful and whisper quiet. Trip for friends birthday.

We had a great four day stay at this apartment, really clean and everything you would need.It's really near the main square and plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Any queries were answered quickly and transfers from and to airport were excellent, all inall would love to stay here again.

Amazing Place in A Great Location!

This is the most adorable place in a wonderful location--just a few minutes' walk from Old Town Square, and with tons of restaurants and markets in the immediate vicinity. The unit was very well-equipped and slept our group of 5 comfortably. It's in the interior of the building with an adorable courtyard (and friendly neighborhood kitty), which makes the unit very, very quiet. The management provided detailed instructions for getting into the unit and allowed us to drop off our bags prior to check-in time so that we could grab lunch and explore that first afternoon. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if we're lucky enough to return to Prague!

Amazing apartment in Old Town

This was the perfect place to stay when visiting Prague. Just like other reviews say, its a few blocks from the square but tucked away and very quiet. Beautiful and historic inzide, equipped well, check in and out was easy, and communication was great. Highly recommended!

Wonderful place!

Well, the ratings on this one were right on the money - a top-notch, charming home right in the middle of old town. Close to excellent restaurants (particularly The Food Lab) and walking distance to the astronomical clock and other points of interest. Great communication with the owners, who scheduled our pickup with a long-time business partner who could not have been any nicer. A fabulous experience in this charming setting.

Gorgeous apartment, excellent hosting

We loved this beautiful, clean, comfortable apartment, tucked inside a lovely courtyard in the heart of Prague's Old Town. Stunning vaulted ceilings, lovely and interesting furnishings, and extras like a fireplace and stack of lpcal guide books all combine to make a memorable stay. Excellent communication as well. A delightful place to stay.

This charming, eclectic, very quiet apartment was very comfortable for two couples. And the location is incredible, though you should know your parking options if traveling with a car. Also, shower/tub would be challenging for some elderly or disabled travelers.

Great apartment and great location.

We had a great time staying at Stare Mesto. We loved how old the apartment was, yet had all of the modern necessities. Robin was great. We had issues with the TV and he was right on it and was super easy to work with. Also, the location is perfect. Situated in a neighbourhood, yet close to the Old Town Square and all of the fun things to do. If I am ever in Prague again, I would stay there.

Perfect spot for exploring Prague

Abbot's is a lovely hideaway in Josefov, perfectly situated for exploring the center of old Prague. The neighborhood is amply supplied with delis, bakeries and pubs yet once you retreat behind the wooden gate into the courtyard you leave the tourists and noise behind. We couldn't have been more pleased with our choice. Thank you, Robin and Michaela for your prompt answers to our questions, too. We'll come back!

Great Location!

We worked with Michaela, and she was great. The location of the apartment was fantastic, and many of Prague's historic sites are within a 20 min walk radius. Prague is beautiful during Christmas season. One of the rooms is under the staircase, so there can be significant ambient noise from folks above even into the wee hours. Earplugs help. The washer/dryer was a lovely perk. The self check-in did take a bit to figure out, but all in all, it was a terrific stay! I'd absolutely recommend this apartment to other travelers.

Charm and Elegance in the Heart of Prague1

From the time you open the gate to the inner courtyard, you enter a magical location in the centre of Prague 1 and a 5 min walk to the Old Town Square. The area is full of great restaurants and pubs including the James Joyce Irish Pub right across the street. Yet the location of this old building in the middle of the courtyard shields all street noise. We sat out in the grassy garden surrounded by flowers and enjoyed a wine after a busy day exploring Prague. It was like an oasis. The apartment itself is actually far better than the photos do it justice in the listing. It is tastefully decorated and has very comfy couches to sit on in LR and even one in the kitchen! Kitchen has everything you need. Beds are super comfy in 2 large and high ceiling rooms. Large modern bathroom with 2 sinks and a beautiful large soaker tub and rainforest shower that was lovely. Combo washer/dryer was great to have. Dishwasher in kitchen. Apt stayed cool even though it was 25-30C while we were there for a 4 night stay. There is charm and elegance to these accommodations. We LOVED everything about this place and considered it the best one we had stayed in of 4 places we had rented while in Europe. Communication was terrific and almost instant. We used the pre-arranged taxi service from the train station and then to the airport and it is a set rate and reliable knowledgeable drivers and clean big vehicles that picked us up. Definitely use this service if you need a taxi!

Moldy mildewed linens with insufficient dining capacity

We spent a good portion of our stay washing the well-used towels* and sheets (smelled like they had been washed and left in the machine for days before someone decided to dry them) and there was no way for 7 people to sit for a meal with only 3 dining chairs plus the 2 we moved from other rooms; no more than 3 of any matching dish; cloth water-heater cover right above gas stove was a bit concerning; bathroom and kitchen operating areas were clean but floors were grubby. (*We were instantly charged USD$39 for a hand towel we voluntarily apologized for turning pink in a laundering mishap.) Location and setting were great and host responsive regarding conflicting WiFi instructions but we would not go back.

Wonderful One-Month Stay

This two-bedroom, one-bathroom remodeled medieval apartment is larger than it appears in the photos. Both bedrooms are large, the living room is light and comfortable, and the fully-equipped kitchen invites you to cook daily breakfast and a few dinners when you get tired of eating out. The apartment is professionally remodeled and decorated, sort of like a charming beach house style in the city. The apartment is in an interior courtyard, so at night it is silent.The location is just right, a block or so away from the night life district and an easy five-minute walk from Old Town Square, the starting point for tours, and very near a variety of grocery stores and bakeries. You definitely will not need a car while staying here. Robin and his staff made sure that the apartment remained immaculately clean and maintained during our leisurely and enjoyable stay for the month of June 2017. He quickly fixed our one small complaint, and handled with aplomb our accidental breakage of a lamp.

You can’t beat the location of this lovely apartment! A short walk from restaurants, pubs, and Old Town Square. The kitchen was well supplied with pans, pots and cooking utensils. Check out was easy! Communication was not a problem.

Die Lage ist mega und man gelangt auch zu Fuß schnell hin. Die Abwicklung war an sich auch völlig problemlos, nur der Schlüssel lag bei Ankunft noch nicht wie vereinbart bereit, da die Wohnung noch nicht fertig gereinigt war.Dies stellt für uns aber kein Problem dar. Insgesamt war mir der Wohnung alles super. Wir waren zufrieden. Einen Stern Abzug haben wir wegen folgender Kritikpunkte dennoch vornehmen müssen:• die Wohnung ist insgesamt sehr hellhörig (wofür der Vermieter nichts kann)• das Bad hat leider kein Fenster, weshalb es hier immer etwas feucht war und etwas muffig roch (auch hierfür kann der Vermieter nichts)• Die Wohnung ist insgesamt sehr dunkel (kann der Vermieter ebenfalls nicht beeinflussen)Diese Punkte sind wichtig zu wissen, können jedoch vom Vermieter nicht geändert oder verbessert werden. Daher trotzdem 4 sehr gute Punkte!Danke!

The apartment exceeded our expectations. A good many rental properties serve their purpose but don't offer much in terms of aesthetics. The Old Town Square apartment does both. The ceilings are high and vaulted, the furniture comfortable, the kitchen ready for anything. The location is excellent, with a mini-mart just around the corner and many cafes and restaurants to choose from. The entire old city is in easy walking distance. Check in was easy, and so was check out. When we had a question, it was quickly answered. Highly recommended.
