Lovely hotel in a hidden location below the castle. Very quiet at night yet also very close walking to all the attractions and some great restaurants. The breakfast at the hotel is overlooking the city - really nice. Staff were all so very helpful and kind.

Lovely stay

Lovely room, very welcoming staff that makes you feel very at home. They are all very helpful and kind. Would recommend everyone to stay with them. Breakfast is great with many a la carte options and a wonderful view of the city when eating it.

The Golden Well surpassed our expectations. It was a a great place to end our European tour. The staff was exceptional and the room was large and comfortable and very clean. It requires a short uphill walk but very doable, even for a 75 yr old pulling a roll-aboard suitcase and wearing a backpack.

It is very quiet, very comfortable, the pillows and mattresses were so comfortable, we had the best sleep, the staff was beyond amazing, it’s located right in the city center, within walking distance to a lot of attractions, and the breakfast and roof top restaurant were exceptional. This hotel has a special charm. I stayed with my husband and 3 teenagers and we loved it. The location is perfect, it’s quiet and yet easily accessible to the old city. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with thoughtful things like fruit and cake. Not to mention dark curtains and great air conditioning. The breakfast room has the best view of the city and the staff are all friendly and make the experience perfect. I highly recommend this hotel.
