Luxurious 4 bedroom home 3 full baths is a Vintage dream home in a quiet community. The home is 4200 square ft. ,has wooden arched ceiling, double crown molding, commerical grade appliances in the kitchen, old spanish tile and marble with a flair of elegance in all bathrooms . The 2 story home is over 100 years old with cypress hardwood floors and wooden arch ceilings. There is a beautiful chandelier and marbel fireplace located in the lovely foyer. The home sits on 3 acres of land that is adjacent to a water park , resturants and lots of shopping malls. The garage has a large media room, with full bath, and Large bar area. There is also a small cottage with all the ammenties.It is the perfect setting for relaxing and entertaining.

Beautiful property!

We stayed here for my sister’s wedding with her bridal party. Location was perfect. The grounds were great for pictures and we had plenty of room. Would highly recommend this location!

We had an excellent stay at this beautiful Acadian style house that was absolutely beautiful! It was clean, spacious, had a movie room, had a jacuzzi tub outside and had plenty of parking. This house exceeded our expectations! The land is beautiful and it was a great place for our family to stay for a wedding weekend!

Great Stay

This was my first rental with vrbo and it couldn’t have gone better. The owner was very communicative and everything went as expected/promised. The house itself was amazing. My son in laws baroque burgers, the hot tub was enjoyable and the movie media room. We had popcorn !

Great place for Bride & Bridesmaids to get ready

What a wonderful place for my daughter & her bridesmaids to stay & get ready for her wedding day! The house is beautiful & there was lots of room to have hair & makeup done there the morning of the wedding. The grounds also made for some lovely pictures too! Checkin & checkout was very convenient. We would highly recommend this property!

Beautiful Farm House with Charm

This property worked great for our party of 9. Lots of room for everyone! The owners and the local caretaker went above and beyond to check in on us and make sure we had all we needed. House is beautiful, recently remodeled, but still lots of charm. It has a little bit of a spooky vibe, but in the best possible way!

Amazing Time

I can not express how satisfied we were with our experience. Our host made sure to check in and made sure we had anything we needed for our event . We were given a tour upon arrival. The house was bigger than expected, very clean, and very spacious. Would definitely book here again and would also recommend to anyone !

Home away from home

We stayed in this beauty the weekend of our son's wedding. We even hosted his rehearsal dinner here! Josh and Melvin went out of their way to make our stay memorable. The home is charming! The yard is spacious! We even took time to enjoy the jacuzzi. We gave the kitchen a good workout and it was up for the challenge! Thank you for having this home as a place folks can stay and relax. I hope we can use it again one day.

Amazing Home and property

We rented this beautiful home for my son’s wedding weekend. The bride and her party dresses at the house and took photos. The place has picture perfect photos of the beautiful bride. Home was roomy and very comfortable. The history of the home is Incredible. We do plan to return in the spring to be able to have more free time to enjoy the home! Property owner and the caretaker were so sweet and helpful. Thank you for sharing your piece of history with us.

Outstanding accommodations and the perfect location

This is the perfect location for all things New Orleans and Baton Rouge. The accommodations are outstanding with exquisite detail to the house and the grounds. The pictures help but be assured the property is far better than the photos illustrate. The owners communicate extremely well and want your stay to be successful. The house is clean like a "home" should be. The bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and common areas were clean and orderly. Frankly, if one is looking to escape this is the property. There are plenty of activities in the area to enjoy where you can immerse yourself in the local culture. Lastly, we will stay there again!

BEAUTIFUL HISTORICAL HOME!

We spent the first 30 minutes just exploring and wondering about the history behind this home. Everything is beautifully restored and has such a peaceful character. Something just makes you feel as if it must have been a happy home "back in the day". The caretaker of this home is just that... full of care. There were snacks and wine waiting for us. Make sure you have time to just stay home and enjoy your surroundings. It's not just a place to lay your head. ENJOY!

Beautiful property, very close to Baton Rouge. Great for groups, if the owner increases bed sizes

We loved everything about this property except for the size of the beds in every room but the master bedroom. It's just 5 minutes east of Baton Rouge and very easy to find with WAZE. We had 3 couples and 2 young adults visiting family in BR for Thanksgiving. Our sports fans loved the screening room and it was great to watch the Macy's parade on the big screen. The house is very clean, the kitchen is well stocked with dinnerware and cooking items, and the bed and bathroom have nice linens and everything you need to be comfortable. We appreciated the large washer and dryer as well. The owners are very attentive and helpful. But the double beds in the guest rooms need to be replaced with queen beds, and the twin beds in the 3d guest room need to be replaced with better mattresses. With such a big house, you can expect to have couples stay in some if not all of the rooms and a double bed is just too short for most people. Other than that, the property is amazing.
