"This was an amazing hotel. The staff were absolutely wonderful. The rooms were very clean, large with a lovely view on the deck of the gardens. The breakfast was also worth paying for. We would definitely come back to this hotel again. Best hotel we have stayed in so far during our France visit. "

Unfortunately in this very small town their restaurant is closed for dinner on weekend and the other hotel restaurants in town were limited in capacity to their own guests. The closure was due to staffing difficulties so I hate to point this out, but we ended up getting burgers at a local snack shop--and they were so busy it was an hour wait to pick up our order! "L'hÎtellerie est un vrai métier et c'est exactement ce que nous n'avons pas trouvé au Relais de la Poste à GOURDON. Le chauffage n'avait pas été enclenché de façon à ce que l'on rentre dans une chambre douillette. Certes il y a une télécommande mais encore faut-il prendre possession de la chambre quelques heures avant d'y dormir. Dans la salle de bains chauffage également au moyen d'une télécommande, sans notice et qui a priori fonctionne en minuterie. Donc mieux vaut se lever au petit matin...
