"This hotel is charming and well located just off a square in old town. Shops, an ATM , and a nice restaurant are just outside. Be aware that the covered breakfast, although very good, is about a half mile walk away. And, there is a flight of stone steps (a handrail goes only part way) up to get to the elevator for upper floors. The rooms are comfortable and pleasant. There are very good views from the roof top terrace. No food or drink is served at this hotel."

"Cornaro is a very smart and well run hotel, as you might expect for the price. Everything was spotless, the staff friendly and helpful, the rooms spacious and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. It was also in a great location for visiting the old town of Split. The view from the rooftop terrace/bar was stunning and well worth a visit even if you did not have a drink. The only slight negative was the cleaning of our room. The maid failed to top up tea bags, coffee capsules or milk when servicing the room and we had to ask for more from the front desk, a minor point only."

"Our room was large, spacious and very nice. The complimentary bottle of wine in our room was unexpected and appreciated. Breakfast was very good with a wide variety of options. The spa pool and saunas were very nice. Excellent location. Walking time to the Old City was about 15 minutes. We would definitely stay here again!"
