A bit outdated, but nice and friendly place, the quality price ratio very good. Our room was big and silent, breakfasts sufficient and dinner a la carte tasty and inexpensive. If you come here to visit Cēsis you might prefer a car, but it's perfectly possible to use the local buses as well, two bus stops are close to the hotel. The staff is friendly, speaks English very well and the level of service is very good.

Tigra Hotel is a fantastic choice if you’re looking to stay near Cēsis. The location is incredibly convenient—just a few minutes from the town center—making it easy to explore the beautiful area while enjoying a peaceful retreat. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and helpful throughout the stay, always ready with a smile and great local tips. The rooms were spotless, very comfortable, and surprisingly quiet, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. Breakfast was another highlight—fresh, varied, and delicious, with something for everyone. It really set a great tone for the day. Overall, Tigra Hotel offers excellent value and a warm, relaxing experience. I’d absolutely stay here again!

First of all, you get what you pay for, and for the price this property is excellent! Careful though, the restaurant and bar we thought we'd signed up for wasn't available. However, the nearby town of Cēsis is a must see, with great restaurants. Special shout out to Santa, the overnight keeper of the gate during our stay.

The hotel is very dated, but comfortable with spacious rooms. The breakfast was okay. Be aware that the pool requires reservations and costs 5 Euro per person to use. It also has no shallow end at all, so not appropriate for children.

Good if you have a car. no microwave, no fridge, no kettle in the room. small indoor pool that requires advance booking and charges 5 euros per person. breakfast paid 8 euros per person. AC unplugged and without remote control (AC not operating)

At check in card payment was not possible - luckily I had enough cash to pay the room. Then an alarm started to blast in the middle of the night which obviously was not connected to some kind of security. No one came so it blasted on. Reception is closed at night so it is up to the guest to find a telephone number to call in such a case hotel management informed me. It is not exactly what you think of when you leave the hotel at that time of night.

Piti olla aamupala - ei ollut. Lapsen piti sisältyä hintaan - ei sisältynyt, vaan tuli 12€ lisämaksu, mikä piti hoitaa käteisellä, kortti ei käynyt. Huone kulunut, eikä kovin puhdas.
