Fabulous Well Equipped Gite Complex with Swimming Pool and Games Room

Luxury self catering gites in beautiful, quiet rural surroundings of the Poitou-Charentes. Situated on the Loire/Vienne border close to Futuroscope, the Chateaux of the Loire Valley, Vineyards of Saumur and Chinon as well as historic towns such as Poitiers, Tours and Richelieu. Our three gites date back to the 16th Century and were part of a former winery which have been sympathetically converted in 2018, providing spacious accommodation with modern facilities. The gites have private terraces with seating and bbq which open onto large communal gardens with 10m x 5m in ground swimming pool. We have converted our former bakery into a games room with pool table, football table, dart board and toys for younger children. We have two large table and chairs for all guests to dine together either outside undercover or inside.

The characterful stone cottages under clay tile roofs offer much historic interest such as flag stone floors, exposed oak beams, indoor well covered with safety glass, vaulted ceilings and lime washed walls. The accommodation comprises of:

Le Pressoir - Two first floor bedrooms, both with en suite shower rooms and walk in wardrobes, bedroom 1 has an extra large bed and bedroom 2 has two single beds. Bed linen and towels are included with this rental. On the ground floor there is an open plan living room, kitchen and dining area.

La Maison du Puits - The first floor has a master bedroom with extra large bed and en suite shower room. There is also a bedroom with 3 single beds and a sofa. On the ground floor there is a further bedroom with an extra large bed, kitchen/dining room with covered well, sitting room and a bathroom off the main stone staircase. Bed linen and towels are included with this rental.

Set in a quiet rural hamlet on the border of the Vienne and Loire within 2 miles from a town called Monts Sur Guesnes with a restaurant, bakers, convenience store, tourist office, bank, pharmacy etc. The nearby medieval towns of Richelieu, Chinon, Poitiers, Tours and Saumur offer excellent entertainment including chateaux, wine tours, fine dining, zoos, shopping, golf and the amusement parks of Futuroscope and Puy de Fou.

Superbe séjour entre amis dans les gîtes de Samantha .

Nous avons passé un superbe moment de partage entre amis grace au logement de Samantha. Les deux gîtes sont superbe et très spacieux , très bien équipés. La propriété est magnifique, le jardin est très grand, et superbement entretenue . le paradis sur terre ! Vous ne manquerez de rien, Samentha a été à notre écoute tout au long du séjour ! Merci encore pour les fraises du jardin nous nous sommes régalé ! Nous reviendrons sans douter , allez y les yeux fermés . Encore un grand merci à Sam ses filles et son mari !
