Waterfront Cottage in Prince Edward County - Close to Wellington and Wineries

Now with free WI-FI.This property is located down a semi-private laneway on Lake Consecon. Tranquil and scenic with both woods and lake views. This cottage offers two decks, fire pit and a large dock . TV with DVD, dishwasher, soaker tub, washer and dryer, linen for beds and bathroom towels provided. Sleeps 6 comfortably. Bright and friendly, this cozy cottage is perfect for a relaxing vacation any time of the year. No cleaning fee’s !!! For bicycle enthusiast , the County has popular routes and a shop for rentals or repairs. BBQ on deck and two kayaks , one canoe and paddles included. PFD are available and must be worn when using canoe and kayaks. A Provincial Parks Day Pass is included with the cottage.
New for 2019 is a gas fireplace in the living room to warm in front of on cooler evenings. New for the fall of 2022 is a sauna, check pictures. STA LICENSE #is ST-2021-0206

Wonderful family vacation

Relaxing and well-stocked with everything you need for a cottage vacation. Penny was easy to communicate with and we all loved our stay at concrest cottage! Close to sandbanks, north beach and wineries. Amazing stay!

Ideal family rental

Well equipped cottage with beautiful views in a very central location. PEC is a great family holiday area with lovely sandy beaches- national park pass included with the rental. It was a very relaxing stay with lake access from our own jetty.

We spent a great time in this cottage. It was so clean and well organized. We were able to find all we needed and more. The owner also was so nice. She kept in touch with us the whole time.

Cozy and fun in an incredible location

This is a great spot. Quiet with easy private access to a beautiful large lake, fantastic sunsets. The chalet is simple but well equipped. It is easy to get around to PEC great spots like Sandbanks but you can also just have a great time at the chalet swimming, kayaking, relaxing on the deck and the dock or playing games around the fire (not to mention the Sauna). Great value.

A little corner of paradise

We had the wonderful chance to stay a full week at this amazing cottage. The sunset on the lake are among the most beautiful ones you can see. Watching the stars lying on the dock is a MUST. Penny is just so nice and always there to help. We hope to go back again.

Lovely place

Beautiful cottage. Very comfortable beds. Lots of bedding and towels etc. kitchen was great. Really enjoyed our stay. Only issue, as we are older ladies, was the access to the water. A little too steep for us. However you can easily drive to a beach close by Definitely will come back

A Perfect Peaceful Getaway

We had an amazing time at Penny's cottage. The cottage is so well equipped and had everything we needed for our stay, including all kitchen appliances, extra towels for the lake and games. It is such a peaceful area by the lake with three different decking areas to enjoy the views and sunsets. Penny was extremely helpful and communicative. Would definitely return :)

Perfect family getaway

The cottage is spotlessly clean, comfortable, fully equipped, and has a spectacular view. We enjoyed the kayaks and canoe, reading on the deck, fishing from the dock, the fire pit, and the thoughtfully provided S'mores kit and bottle of wine. North Beach made a great day trip and we appreciated the provincial park pass included in the rental cost. Penny was lovely to work with and we'd love to return.

What a fabulous area. Our host was extremely quick to respond to our questions. Thirty minutes drive, would bring us to Wellington, Bloomfield, Picton... Cottage gives an exceptional view of the lake, dock gives the opportinuty to relax and zen!

The Peefect Location & Host

This was an absolutely wonderful property, located perfect location so close to the wineries and on the beautiful lake! We really appreciated all the amenities and Penny was so fantastic about her communication with us when the property was available and any few things to know. Great Stay at a Wonderful Place

We visited the County for our Daughter's wedding at a local venue in early June, 2024. We had an amazing week at your lovely cottage in this beautiful setting on Lake Consecon. The cottage and property was nice and clean and well prepared to receive guests. We took the opportunity to have a nice hot sauna every morning to start our day. Thanks again Penny. Absolutely fantastic

We stayed for 3 nights in November. Weather was chilly but the cottage was warm helped by the fire place. The outdoor sauna was welcome. Kitchen fully equipped. Super clean and comfortable & lots of room. Lovely view of lake; very quiet and private. Close to wineries. Minutes from town of Wellington with all amenities. Great place for us retirees. We plan to return in 2025. Thanks Penny

The Eagle Has Landed!

We loved Consecon Lake and thought Concrest Cottage was charming - thoughtfully and very well equipped and in a gorgeous quiet setting overlooking the water. The highlight of the week was the arrival on a couple of days of a bald eagle, which sat most obligingly in the tall dead tree on the property whilst we took photos. What a magnificent sight!

Art and photography visit to PEC

My partner and I -- both seniors in our 70s -- stayed at Penny's place for 5 days to visit galleries, wineries, and to photograph Sandbanks. The cottage is beautifully situated on Consecon Lake, secluded and private, and it is easy to get around on Route 1. The kitchen was very well outfitted, and there were plenty of towels and other accessories. Penny was especially responsive to our needs -- excellent communication. Very comfortable and highly recommended, especially for families.

A precious gem !!!

We had a wonderful vacation. The sunset view was spectacular every night of our stay. Upon arrival,the cottage was impeccable. Very well stocked. Thank you Penny,for the welcome gift ,a nice bottle of wine from a local winery and smores for the kids...and adults😋. We enjoyed kayaking and canoeing on the beautiful Consecon lake. Family Retreat

The description and details in the listing are accurate and did not disappoint. We enjoyed our stay at Concrest Cottage and the surrounding area. We appreciated the cleanliness and all the amenities including extra towels for the sauna and everything we needed in the kitchen. The canoe and kayaks were used daily exploring the quiet lake and the sauna was a wonderful bonus! All of our time was spent enjoying the outdoors and great views from the upper and lower decks. Penny is very prompt to respond to any questions. Perfect place to enjoy time with our family creating wonderful new memories!

Perfect Place

We had an amazing stay at Concrest Cottage. The setting was perfect and the view definitely had the wow factor! We were very lucky with the weather and saw some beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Everything that we could possibly need, was supplied in abundance. We had great fun playing the outdoor and indoor games. Used the kayaks a number of times, and made use of the BBQ, sauna and fire pit. Penny was in touch with full information prior to our stay and kindly left a welcome card and lovely wine. We had a couple of nice meals out at The Whistling Duck, half an hour away, which were lovely. Also visited Sandbanks Provincial Park which was great. We were very sad to leave our home for 5 days and would have no hesitation in returning in the future.

Ladies Trip 2024

As soon as we arrived the immediate grab was the lake view from the large, bright windows. Lotsof available parking. The cottage itself is impeccably clean and cozy. There is ample space to sleep and the mattresses are very comfortable. As a note, there are two bunkbeds and a crib, so if you have kids it's well suited. The open concept makes it easy to spend time with friends and cook. Even though it's still May, all of us took advantage of dipping in the lake then having a nice hot sauna! Penny was very easy to communicate and left lots of info on what things are in the area to see. From available kayaks, boardgames, and television and wifi access this cottage made for a really memorable stay. Looking forward to another visit!

Girls Weekend

This Wellington Oasis is a fantastic getaway destination. Bravo to Penny for being a super host. She was responsive and friendly. The kitchen was fully stocked with the amenities and then some! This home away from home was perfectly furnished, beds comfortable, and everything was spotless when we arrived. The soaker tub was a little difficult to get in and out of when showering. It’s obvious that this host put a lot of care and attention into her home. The views are spectacular from all decks. There are beautiful walking trails near by at Sandbanks. Location was central to the tourist attractions and wineries of Prince Edward county.

Lovely

It was a lovely stay. Beautiful views and had everything we needed. Very close to great beach and fabulous wineries as well as Wellington and Bloomfield. The cottage had everything we needed and the layout was great. Host was quick to respond and friendly. Below are suggestions I would like make which would improve the already delightful experiene: - matresses could be replaced as they are saggy and noisy. - screens could be cleaned to allow air-flow into the bedrooms, particularly since there is no screen in the patio door which I understand is because it has had to be replaced multiple times. - air-conditioning unit could be cleaned. My husband cleaned it which allowed it to do a better job of cooling the space. - Dishwasher filter could be cleaned to add longevity and clean dishes better. - A washing line would be geat to dry towels and swimwear Thank you 🌸
