Amiata - Vacation Rental in Orcia Valley, Tuscany

Le Querce di Campocane is a beautifully restored historic country house. Perched on the border between Tuscany and Lazio, it is located on a hilltop with breathtaking views of the pristine surrounding landscape. From here, you can admire the majestic Amiata and Cetona mountains, the serene Elvella River, the picturesque village of San Casciano dei Bagni, and the Monte Rufeno Nature Reserve—creating a stunning natural panorama.

This idyllic retreat is ideally situated for day trips to renowned artistic and cultural destinations, including Siena, Pienza, Montepulciano, Sorano, Pitigliano, Orvieto, the picturesque Lake Bolsena, and the rejuvenating thermal springs of San Casciano dei Bagni.

The house has been completely restored and divided into four apartments. All the apartments are large and comfortable and have been very well furnished.

At guests' disposal:
The swimming pool (13 x 8 mt; depth: 1,40 mt) is located only a few metres from the house.

Well equipped garden, barbecue, laundry room, ping pong and internet wi-fi connection available only in the garden in front of the apartments.

Very nice looking house, with lots of space in and around the house. But the furniture is old, the beds are not comfortable, mattresses are old, and also the couch is too old. It has no support anymore. The road which leads to the house is bad, and very rocky for more than 3 km. Kitchen and bathrooms are old but okay. The house is located in the middle of nothing, you have to drive quite some km to see something, but that can be nice if you like it. The house was warm, and there were a lot of mosquitoes, so air conditioning or fans would help during summer, and also blinds or good curtains would help.
