  • Blue Lake * (Croatian: Modro jezero or Plavo jezero) is a karst lake located near Imotski in southern Croatia. Like the nearby Red Lake, it lies in a deep sinkhole possibly formed by the collapse of an enormous underground cave. The total depth from the upper rim is around 220 meters, while water depth varies with season. In spring, when the snow from surrounding mountains melts, it can reach 90 m, and in 1914 it reached 114 m, overflowing the southern rim. The lake is a popular destination for hiking and sight-seeing. Maximum dimensions of the lake are around 800×500 m, but they significantly vary due to big changes in the water level. At the end of the summer the lake may completely disappear. In 1907 a road was built descending to the lake. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in diesem Haus.

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in diesem Haus. Die Vermieter sind super nett , sehr herzlich und stets hilfsbereit. Das Haus ist insgesamt sehr gut ausgestattet , eventuell fehlen ein paar Kleinigkeiten die man mal zum kochen benötigt , für mehr als 6 Personen ( zbsp. Töpfe) Sonst ist alles dort sehr gut ausgestattet und es macht Spass dort zu verweilen. Der Pool , Whirlpool und die Sauna lassen keine Wünsche offen . Die Lage ist sehr abgelegen , trotzdem hat man Geschäfte in wenigen Minuten entfernt. Die Lage sorgt für Ruhe und Erholung , wer aber die Adria sehen möchte muss schon 25 Minuten fahren , was sich aber auch mehr als lohnt . Wer Ruhe und Erholung abseits von Tourismus will, ist hier perfekt aufgehoben. Insgesamt empfehlen wir von Herzen das Haus weiter.

Sehr Laut durch Baulärm ab 06.00 Morgens, und durch Hundelärm. Möbel in dem Wohnzimmer etwas durchgesessen. In den oberen Schlafräumen keine Klimaanlage was bei den Temperaturen sehr unangenehm ist . Vermieter sehr Gastfreundlich!
