"Dated but clean room. Small bathroom. Had to request any housekeeping needs. Uneven cooling. Quiet. Excellent location. Staff friendly and helpful"

"Overall a great experience. The room was clean and comfortable even though the hotel is a bit older. There was ample parking and a beautiful view. I would absolutely stay here again. I took off one star due to two factors. The towel bar fell off the wall in the bathroom. When I alerted the staff, they quickly reattached it while we were out for the day. But it immediately fell off again. The two ends of the towel bar were too far apart, so simply reattaching the fallen end into the same location didn’t solve the problem. Also, while the breakfast selection was very good, the trays of hot food were often not hot and almost empty. If they had put out smaller trays that they refilled more frequently, that would solve the issue."

Best Western Acadia Park Inn

"First off, Walter at the front desk is amazing. A one man show, hje handled all problems with poise. The poeple here were very accomodating. The Motel is an open door to every room. When it rained, it sounded like it was coming into the room, but it wasn't. The two rooms we stayed in were nice and clean, but very basic. The family stle room had a king bed and a seperate room with two built in twins. I'm 6'3" and I fit okay into one of these twins. The swimming pool is small but the weather was never warm enough to attempt to use. Location is an easy in/out with a 5 minute walk to the shuttle stop across the street at the campsite. There is an excellent place within walking to get live lobster dinners and ice cream. It's about a 10 minute drive to downtown Bar Harbor, a 5 minute drive to Acadia entrance and situated that you can drive to all parts of the island. There are multiple places to stay, but when all factors are considered, this is a very nice place."

"2nd time here so we like it. You can beat the location. We used to stay at the resort on wwst St but got tired of the noise and children running up and down the hallways. The hotel is super clean and the beds are super comfy. They serve a lovely complimentary breakfast. Dinner is comfort food standards but having the restaurant in house is convenient. Dinner is ok but do is most of the dining in Bar Harbor."
