This house was built in 2023 in the middle of the Wolfsschlucht vacation home park near Prüm in the Walcherath district, which is currently under construction. Here you can spend your vacation in an energetically optimized and high-quality furnished vacation home at a preferential price before the completion of the vacation home park.
The 2-bedroom house can accommodate up to 4 people. Floor-to-ceiling windows give you a wonderful view of the outdoors. After an active day in the great outdoors, make yourself comfortable by your own wood-burning stove or relax in the sauna.
Outside, you can make yourself comfortable on the open terrace. You have an electric barbecue at your disposal.
A variety of marked hiking trails start very close to the vacation home, where you can explore the fascinating nature of the Eifel, mountain bike trails, cycle paths and much more.
The Wolfschlucht recreation area is part of the Prüm municipality. As a recognized climatic health resort in the German-Belgian Nature Park, Prüm has a forest swimming pool, indoor leisure pool with sauna, solarium with medical bathing department, spa park, tennis court and indoor riding arena. You can start your outdoor activities directly from your vacation accommodation. Well-developed hiking and cycling trails, sights and nature are waiting to be explored by you. Marked hiking trails open up the landscape and offer wonderful views and rest stops. This applies equally to the excursion areas "Wolfsschlucht", "Schwarzer Mann", "Prümer Kalkmulde" and the valley of "Schönecker Schweiz" with its bizarre rock formations. The maars of the Eifel volcano are also not far away and offer impressive nature experiences as well as an insight into the geological peculiarities of this region.
For carefree cycling fun in the Germany-Luxembourg-Belgium border triangle, the Prümtal Cycle Route and Eifel-Ardennes Cycle Route offer the best conditions for families and senior citizens. The premium cycle paths are signposted throughout.
In terms of cuisine, the Eifel region offers regional specialties as well as international culinary delights to suit individual tastes.
In the winter months, when snow conditions are good, you can access a groomed cross-country ski trail just 50 meters away or the Wolfsschlucht ski area (570 meters above sea level) with a drag lift and the ski hut operated all year round by the Prüm ski club just 250 meters away. The somewhat larger ski and recreation area "Schwarzer Mann" is approx. 14 km away. (697 m above sea level) can be reached.
The vacation home is the ideal base for an active family vacation!
The vacation park is still under construction. Its immediate surroundings have been completed.
On request, a hot tub or seminar rooms in a nearby ski hut can be rented on site. Firewood and briquettes can also be purchased on site. Several houses and apartments in different categories can be rented for group trips.
Please note that: Bed linen and towels are not included in the room rate in 2025; guests can rent them at the property for an additional charge of EUR 12.00 per person, or bring their own. Consumption costs are not included in the room rate and will be charged according to guest use within three weeks after check-out. Up to two pets are allowed. Construction work may take place in the vicinity of the property.
