"Perfect place for one or two people. There is a private beach. You are allowed to make a fire on the beach. The sunsets are straight ahead off the property! Cape Charles is 30 minutes away. Great place to get away from city life, work, just to relax!"

"This was an amazing place to stay. A beautiful house with anything you can think of for your vacation. Plenty of room for our family and such an amazing location. I would recommend this for any family looking for a peaceful and private vacation stay. It is just a short drive away from many different things to do for day trips. Also a great place to just stay, hangout, and unwind."

"The room was clean, the staff were friendly and accommodating. The Motel claims that it has bicycles, scooter, and other recreational activities available. However, the bicycles are rusted and falling apart as they are kept outside in a saltwater environment. The motel claims that they offer breakfast, however, while they do offer coffee, the breakfast consists of a couple bagels bought from the store, bananas, apples, generic Walmart brand Nutri-Grain bars, and donuts. It is not actually a breakfast, more like store-bought items. They will tell you that the general store, next-door, offers egg and cheese sandwiches. However, these egg and cheese sandwiches are premade, wrapped in foil, have been sitting out and will need to be reheated. The seafood restaurant across the street has gone out of business so if you want dinner, you will have to contact some type of delivery service or drive 20 minutes to the nearest town. While the area is peaceful, quiet and quaint be prepared that there is no cell phone service and you will have to use the Wi-Fi offered by the motel, which is wonderful. Overall, for us, it was a good day."
