Overall good stay. Staff was overall nice. Buffet selection was mediocre, but restaurants were good. The crapes on the beach were awesome along with the beach smoothie bar. Can’t complain for the deal we received for family of 4.

Room was overall clean. However, there were 2 mornings during my stay when I was woken up around 8 am by someone in the resort trying to sell me something. This was annoying. I hadbto disable the phone in the room to avoid that from happening again. Overall the stayeas pleasant, good was ok and the resort well maintained.

Nice night entertainment, sewer small in the room, good food but want to se mor Dominican food. Friendly staff but poor front desk service. There is a phone in each room, but it’s not working. If you want to request you have to send a text message. Great inconvenience. Beautiful courtyard, bird and cat around the compound, which is nice. Beautiful sand, beautiful beach. Music everywhere, which is really nice and cheerful.

Our beds were sagging They both creaked when you moved The ceiling outside our bathroom leaked, I reported it, we kept slipping on the water, we had to leave a towel and the bathroom bin to catch the water There was a rubber band. On the floor in front of the wardrobe, and was still there when we left 20 days later. There was food crumbs under the seat cushions on both couches. The staff were delightful, the DR animation team were so happy and friendly ; one French animation guy was lovely, the French animation girls were extremely rude and aloof…

Catalonia Punta Cana was the perfect location for our family holiday. There was plenty to do for all of us and the food was amazing! We got an experience of Caribbean culture and absolutely loved the shows. Our youngest enjoyed the mini club and never wanted to leave! Staff are amazing, hardworking and happy. We will be back!!!

The scenery 😍 both day and night time! There was a lot of natural scenery for a nature lover like my self, also lots of modern amenities. Food qaa amazing, poolside everything! My kids loved it too and we didn't want to leave. Will definitely visit again soon!

While we acknowledge that the restaurants, food quality, and activities were very good, the condition and cleanliness of our room were unacceptable and fell well below the standards expected from a hotel of this category. From the first day of our arrival, we noticed several gecko droppings on the floor. Surprisingly, even after nearly 20 days, these were never removed. This clearly indicates that the room was not properly cleaned during our stay, with no adequate sweeping or mopping performed. The bathroom was consistently in poor condition.The toilet was not properly cleaned and became highly unhygienic by the end of our stay. The bathtub was so dirty that it was impossible to use it. These conditions are particularly concerning as we were traveling with young children and expected appropriate hygiene standards.Despite generally liking the hotel, this experience was deeply disappointing and has significantly affected our overall impression of the stay

Room annually sprayed for bugs, we had roaches in ours. Maybe one vendor day in the lobby/lunch buffet area, we were dreading going past after the first experience. Consistent room service, some days we got a complete set of things to refresh what we used and others not so much. If it was because of no daily tip where we come from you tip the house maid at the end of the week not every day.

This resort is quite budget-friendly and has a more intimate size. It’s very clean, and some staff members are friendly—especially Victor, who helped transport our luggage to our rooms. However, the resort has limited food options, and we found the Italian restaurant disappointing. Additionally, the staff selling timeshares can be quite aggressive and do not always follow through on their promises. That said, if you can overlook a few minor issues, I would say it’s a great value for the price!

The majority of the staff is rude and appear to be bothered by any of your requests. They have an annoyed or apathetic look the majority of the time. The second most annoying thing about this place is the ability to get pool/beach towels. You need to get up early and get them or else they’re gone. This was everyday of the five days we were there. The buffet food is average, but restaurant food is great. The rooms are not cleaned to the standard of a Marriott but better than a motel 6. Again, the towels for bedrooms are also hard to get. The lines to get drinks are average to long. Crepes are amazing but can be long waits. Pizza and sandwich stations are above average in taste and not as long of a wait. The entertainment they put on for the kids and adults is really good. They really put in effort towards that.

Slow service but when you do receive it, it’s great. the staff make a great experience just need to be present more often. check in takes a while because of lack of staff and laziness. Beautiful property. at the beach you have to cross through seaweed and over the seaweed catcher in order to go to the crystal clear water. buffet changes its meals daily and a TON of variety as in almost hundreds of options. some food is meh while others are delicious you just have to try each a little to find out what’s good. showers probably need to be scrubbed more there is fungus growing but besides that rooms are up to date. they restock the mini-fridge everyday. room service website is a little broken i think or it must be the staff’s slow service but regardless, needs more options and takes a while. Would return again if the service speed improved, but regardless had an unforgettable experience.
