"Overall had a positive experience, mainly due to the location and the staff. The hotel is in a great spot, and the staff were consistently friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. Whether that’s natural hospitality or part of their training, it genuinely made a difference and added warmth to the experience. I also appreciated the small touches - fruit was given on arrival, and again before departure along with a handwritten note, which felt thoughtful and personal. The sky bar is a nice feature with a good atmosphere, although it can get quite windy in the afternoon — more due to weather conditions than anything the hotel controls. The pool bar was also a highlight, with friendly staff and a relaxed vibe. Elevators were fast and efficient, which is always a plus. That said, there were a few areas that could be improved. Room-wise, there were some design and maintenance issues. The bath and shower setup in the junior suite is impractical — you have to climb into the bath just to turn the water on, which feels poorly thought out. In addition, the bath plug wasn’t working during my stay. However, once I mentioned it, the hotel fixed it immediately, which I appreciated. I requested a king bed upon arrival after seeing two twin beds in the room. Reception agreed to have it changed while I was out, but when I returned a few hours later it still hadn’t been done, which was disappointing. "

Disappointed that things like the sky bar, aqua bar, and restaurant on 24 th floor weren’t open even thought they are advertised on the welcome page of the room tv. "Honestly a great hotel to stay at. The rooms were clean, the pool and gym were lovely, and the staff were very friendly. A very good hotel breakfast too - the best we’ve had in Vietnam. Quy Nhon is a fabulous place not ruined by tourists. The restaurants were amazing and the atmosphere is very unique. Would definitely recommend staying at this hotel - such good value. "

"Everything was perfect here. Staff was so friendly and helpful. The clean room was so amazing, we loved the design of the room here so very much. Food was very good. Didn't have time to see the pool, we really regretted not having chance to use it and also its spa service. We didn't have too much time although we thought it will a special service. Even though the weather during our stay was cold and rainy — which meant we couldn’t fully enjoy the private pool or spend much time on the beach — the resort still managed to create an unforgettable experience for us. The space was beautifully designed, incredibly spacious, and waking up to the sound and view of the ocean every morning was pure magic. The attention to detail, comfort, and privacy made it feel like a true luxury escape. What truly made the difference, however, was the level of service. The operational manager Minh went far beyond expectations. From the moment we arrived, he made sure everything was handled perfectly. One particularly memorable moment was when he personally assisted with arranging and receiving a flowers delivery from downtown at 9pm, ensuring it reached our suite smoothly and discreetly. That level of care, responsiveness, and genuine hospitality is extremely rare. Despite the challenging weather, Maia Resort turned what could have been a disappointing stay into a warm, elegant, and deeply memorable experience.
