But the strong scent of cigarette smoke odor was pervasive throughout the building. The cigarette smoke bothered me because I have breathing condition, asthma. "When visiting a foreign country you need to be fluid and open minded. You never know what to expect. In Vietnam you find hotels in sone of the most unexpected places. This hotel was located off the main road but did not lack any comfort. It is only a few minutes away from.the airport, and being tucked in between other buildings, I didnt have to listen to any street noise. As a matter of fact , my window faced a brick wall , but it did not matter. If you have ever been to HCMC , you know that the cars and motorbikes honking can keep.you awake all night. My bed was comfortable, and more importantly i had a nice soft pillow. The staff was well prepared for me and responded quickly to the emails i had sent them before my stay. Check in was fast and so was checkout at 4:30 the next morning. They offered a quick airport shuttle to the airport for a small fee. There were several restaurants and a coffee shop only a few minutes walk from.the hotel. "
