The complete staff was excellent, friendly and helpful in every way. The rooms were clean and the place is amazing. Eating a delicious breakfast overlooking Quito was amazing. Can’t say enough good things about my stay there.

What REALLY stood out was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Yale, in particular went out of her way to ensure a great stay. The room was very clean, but for older or disabled folks, caution there are stairs, but there may be rooms on the ground floor.

I can't praise the staff enough, they, particularly Yale, went beyond the call of duty to assist us. Although, there are some stairs up to the rooms, help was available to carry our bags. The room was clean and tidy. I wish we could have spent a couple more nights.

The location of this property is ideal and walkable to everything you need or want to see in Old Town Quito. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The breakfast on the rooftop is different each day which is an added benefit. Staff are extremely helpful and well organized. We recommend this property.

The room was clean and a really comfortable size, styled beautifully. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly and the breakfast offered was great. They even give you a generous breakfast box for the early morning excursions we had. Overall, highly recommend staying here.

Staff was awesome!!!! Best Boutique Hotel I stayed in a long time, quaint and efficient. Highly recommend! The breakfast was excellent and service was personalized. Reception staff helped gladly with toyr recommenadions and irganization. For me this place was maybe not a luxurious 5 star, but it certainly felt like 5 star treatment. Thanks everybody 🙏 you made my stay in Quito memorable.

This is an inexpensive hostel, great value for the price, that is in the middle of the Old Town section of Quito. Short walk from everything you want to see. Safe. Tons of dining options. Very good breakfast each day. Super friendly, helpful staff! Yale took care of us. Highly recommended.

Amazing property, right in the heart of historic Quito. The room was extremely clean, and the staff was amazing. Only downside was it got quite noisy at night (outside traffic), but it is to be expected with such a centrally-located place. Overall, we were quite pleased with this hotel, and would definately stay there again!

The staff is very helpful. The location is very good, near central plaza. The building is well renovated, colonial style, very beautiful but too much stairs for people over 75 and in Quito (2800m) it is difficult to breathe. The breakfast was very good but in the 3rd floor, beautiful view but more stairs!!

The Friends Hotel and Rooftop was everything we love about a hotel. The staff were all friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived until the day we departed. Each morning, a delicious, and ever changing, breakfast exceeded our expectations. We took a smaller room on an upper floor that had a view of the Panecillo and the location was convenient for walking throughout the Centro Histórico. Our first choice on any visit to Quito.

Overall the kindness of the staff made this an amazing stay. The hotel was very secure, I felt like I was coming to my home. I received everything that was offered and they went above and beyond to accomodate. The breakfast is a set menu but always delicious, healthy and filling. The view from the rooftop is amazing, loved having breakfast with an amazing view of Quito, el panecillo and the surrounding mountains. The night tour they offer is educational, fun and not very long (my personal preference). Will stay here again, no doubt.
