The hotel was amazing. The hotel owners (Oswaldo and his wife) were so very kind and they tended to our every need. The excursions which they provide are very helpful and when we need help they provide us with it very well.

A hidden gem in the very heart of the historic district. An old Spanish colonial house with an open courtyard. Walk 5min to the Basilica and the Plaza Grande. Lots of good restaurants around too. Full of green plants lovingly cared for (even polishing the leaves) by the staff. Mariam and her staff were super friendly and looked after me really well. It was truly a pleasure to stay there and I look forward to another visit.

Beautiful hotel; amazing service

The hotel is located in the historic center so walkable to all the sites. It's a lovely hotel and the rooms are large. The service is exceptional! Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I would absolutely stay here again.

Fantastic hotel privately managed by a very helpful host. Lovely fresh breakfast too. Easy walking distance to all of Quitos historic centre and great restaurants.

Lovely Hotel in Old Quito

Lovely hotel in old Quito. They served a delicious breakfast each day and the staff were very helpful booking day trips and helping us with some other transport we needed. Highly recommend.

What a treat to stay in this historic property! Wow! This was one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in! The hospitality, comfort, location, and safety are just a few of the outstanding things. The hot breakfast in the morning was delicious! I’d highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Quito.

the hotel was great and the staff was excellent. I forgot my phone in the hotel shuttle to the airport and they found my phone, came back to the airport and found me to give me my phone. So fantastic.

This is the place to stay when in Quito. We were welcomed so warmly by the front desk manager who gave us a review of the interesting historic roots of the hotel, as well as taking us to the rooftop to give us an overview of the city and where to go. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast was amazing. Shout out to Byron and Karla, and the lovely airport pick up gentleman. All in all very glad I stayed here

This boutique hotel is beautifully decorated with murals of historical Ecuadorian sites in each room. It is conveniently located within walking distance from the Basilica and pedestrian part of the Old town. Great breakfasts daily with fresh croissants, eggs, fruits and coffee. The staff, especially Josue at the front desk, is extremely friendly and helpful in providing guidance and arranging for excursions as needed. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Quito.

I had only one night in Quito and staying here was one of the best decisions we could have made. We flew in late and could have opted for one of the larger well known accommodations near the airport but we really wanted something that had history and location, this hotel nailed it. We were greeted with a shuttle that Basilica had arranged with me prior to our flight. When we arrived at the hotel Ricardo was very polite easy to work with and efficient. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The next morning breakfast was served fresh and timely.

Delightful hotel. The building is 250 years old and is on the UNESCO historical register. The hotel has been modernized, of course. The owner and the staff were helpful and attentive at all times. We arrived late at night ( am) and left six days later at 5 am, yet they were available for us. Breakfasts were very good (typically coffee/tea, juice, fruit, eggs, pan). The ambiance at the hotel was superb with beautiful rooms and a courtyard. The hotel roof had a great view of Quito. If, and when, we come back to Quito. We will definitely stay there again. Terrific hotel!

Mirian runs a very tight ship and insists on showing guests around the old house. Beautifully kept, the hotel is an old house with two inner courtyards. They are covered by glass roofs which protect one from the weather but after a sunny day, leave the rooms rather stuffy at night as there is no cross ventilation. But there is a fan in the room. Laundry is available and hotel is adamant you don’t use the sinks for washing your own smalls. Breakfast provided was modest but v nice. Very clean.

An immaculately maintained historical building with a wonderful staff. Our room was clean and beautiful as was the property as a whole. A great location on Avenida Venezuela between Plaza Grande and Basilica del Voto Nacional. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.
