Amazing view

Amazing hotel, James was extremely helpful, breakfast was nice, typical of all the hotels I used in Ecuador. Location to Old Town was excellent and only a $15 cab from historic equatorial line (mitad del Mundo) Only point I'd make is for some the hotel may feel cold although there is a tower heater in the bedroom which worked well.

A beautiful location, property, and amazing views. Staff was super helpful and we loved dining for both breakfast and dinners. Pretty walkable to the square, but the hills are no joke. A stunning and safe place to stay!

This hotel is incredible. So beautiful and such a high service level. You can book the jacuzzi and steam bath for free, the breakfast is delicious, staff is super polite - if I ever go to Quito again this will for sure be the place I’ll stay.

One fantastic night in Quito

We stayed here only one night between our trip to the Galapagos and Cartagena. We wish we could have stayed longer. This is a beautiful hotel perched on top of the a hill overlooking the old city. We had dinner in their restaurant and breakfast as well, all the food was fantastic.

Wonderful, great, fantastic. What can I say? The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was great (comfy and cosy with good bed and good shower) and the food was excellent. I can't think of a better place to stay!

Beautiful well kept historic building with truly stunning views from the room, the restaurant and roof top bar. Very attentive quality staff. Every amenity including hot tub and steam room. The hotel feels safe and secure. Not a place you’d walk to or from though. Ubers are only $2 to $4 to local spots. $27 to airport.

What a beautiful and unique hotel with views over keto that are mind blowing. Every morning woke up to a spectacular sunrise and gorgeous view overlooking quito. in the mountains. The hotel is immaculate and very beautiful. The restaurant was excellent with outstanding views of quito. The waiter and bartender at the restaurant were first class, as well as the hotel reception people. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Spectacular view

What an amazing place! The view of the city is stunning and can't be beat. In an old building made into a small hotel. Beautifully decorated, a patio garden area, and a restaurant and rooftop bar on the third floor with great food. Kevin tends to your every need, from getting a taxi to making reservations in the restaurant. Highly recommended. Not just a stay, but an experience.

The Castillo Vista del Angel Boutique Hotel is the most beautiful hotel because of the view, the staff who is very caring and attentive, the interior decoration and how neat the place is maintained. They make you feel at home and help you in any need you have. We love the breakfast, it is healthy and colorful, and the view of the city is available from different angles when you eat meals. Amazing place! It helps you to appreciate how lovely is Quito!

Lovely stay

Location: perfect for us, walking distance to Old town, lovely view of Virgen de Panecillo from veranda and dining room. Has a very relax atmosphere. Wifi is great! Check in was easy, staff greeted us everytime we come back from tour or just strolling in the city. Food in the restaurant is delicìous, breakfast is just amazing with fruits, toasted Quinoa with yogurt and fresh coffee. Lastly, staff is super awesome, Kevin, James and bright eyed lady (sorry forgot her name) took an extra mile by mailing my Gopro to my next destination. Thank you so MUCH!!!

Great Stay at Vista del Angel Hotel

I had a fantastic stay as this beautiful hotel! The staff were friendly and super helpful with directions and insider knowledge of the city. The hotel was just beautiful and very clean & the breakfast very delicious. It’s location is walking distance from the city center and all major sights. I look forward to my next visit and thanks to everyone in the hotel for their hospitality! Note: I felt safe at all times during my stay in Quito. The receptionist did inform me to get an Uber to and from the hotel at night time if I went out to dinner which I gladly did and fares are very inexpensive. I appreciated the information for safety first. Thanks!

Everything was excellent! James at the front desk really made us feel welcomed. He was super helpful arranging our transportation from and to the airport. He also set up breakfast boxes for our early departure. Breakfast at the hotel was really good.
