"The cottage was lovely and well equipped, the location was spot on for me as I want peace and quiet and it was only a 10 minute drive to Barnard Castle. If I was to nit pick I would say the cutlery could do with being polished up so there was no dried water marks but like I say that is not picking. I would definitely recommend and go back myself."

"The Barn, close to Copley, Bishop Auckland. Safe, quiet, well appointed double bedroom, single storey property. Nicely decorated with a modern kitchen with fridge, dishwasher, electric oven, induction hob, extractor fan and microwave. Beautiful shower room with two shower heads and heated towel rail. Living area has table and chairs, two seater settee and a single tub chair. There is also a two seater patio set, a large stove, TV and clothes rack. Unfortunately there are no wardrobes in the bedroom but there is a clothes rack in the living/dining area. There is also bedside cabinets and wicker baskets under the bed. There are French windows which open onto the patio to the rear of the property which gets the afternoon sun. "

"Great location for us, near lots of lovely villages and sites. Owner was very friendly and helpful; we especially liked the welcome received by the dogs. Hot tub was a bonus and all ready for our arrival. We loved staying on the farm and enjoyed the stunning scenery and beautiful sunsets."
