For holidaymakers, this area offers many summer and winter activities, such as hiking, rafting, tobogganing and mountain biking. At the Millstättersee you can refresh and relax. In winter, the top ski resort of Bad Kleinkirchheim is waiting to be discovered, and the beautiful ski resorts of Turracher Hohe, Goldeck, Rennweg and Nassfeld are also among the possibilities. Just a few minutes' walk from the house you will find very good restaurants: Gartenrast and Schnitselwirt Wanker. Across the street from Gartenrast is the Shilling brewery, where you can sample home-brewed beers such as the famous "granaatbeer" every weekend, really worth trying.
