The Alpen motel is great value ! I often stay there when traveling through and I must say that the rooms are immaculately maintained ! The bed linen and towels are always exceptionally clean and fresh smelling 😍 Parking is very convenient and the property is close to all local restaurants ! Highly recommend 👌

For the price you really cant go wrong staying here. The parking is not the greatest but otherwise a nice place to stay. Staff was extremely helpful, after Expedia made me believe they would no longer honor my reservation.

Older motel but has some newer updates. A/C worked well. Room was clean and bed was comfy enough. No complaints, just stopping for the night after riding all day. Like that my bike could be parked right outside my door. Multiple places to eat within easy walking distance. Chairs outside of the rooms are great on a warm evening as mountain goats and deer wandered through the property.

Room was reasonable clean. There wasn’t much room for parking. I’m not sure there was even housekeeping as our room wasn’t touched the whole time we were there. It’s close enough to walk to come nice restaurants and plenty of stores around as well.

Rooms are nice and clean. Check in was easy. Paper thin walls so was a bit loud with other guests in the rooms beside us especially when they arrived after midnight. Overall was great for the price.

Staff were helpful when we were stuck on the balcony. The security bar accidentally fell when we closed the sliding door, which in turn we were stuck on the balcony. Glad I had my cell phone and called the manager. They were there right away to let us back into our room. I miss the breakfast voucher for Screamers. Beds were comfortable. I would stay here again. Very affordable.

We had a pleasant stay at Alpen Motel in Radium. The room was cozy, newly renovated, very clean, and had a nice balcony. One feature we especially appreciated was the convenient parking for the second floor, which meant we didn't have to carry our luggage up the stairs. The only disappointment was that when we booked, complimentary breakfast was included. However, it is not the case any more. It would have been helpful to receive advance notice of this change so we could have planned accordingly. That said, we appreciated the motel's gesture of refunding $5/person/day to compensate for the unavailable breakfast.
