Excellent hotel & fantastic staff

We stayed here on our honeymoon as a stopover to the airport and were extremely impressed with the hotel & staff. We weren't expecting much with us just using it as a stopover but the hotel is excellent. It is brand new, extremely well maintained and it has been kitted out really nicely. All the staff were absolutely excellent and made a massive effort to make our trip rememberable! We only had a limited amount of time and the hotel manager, Dexter, even took a trip out for us to buy us snorkels before we landed in the Maldives. The hotel is located about 30 mins from the airport and is within about a 30 second tricycle ride to the train station so the location is fantastic to get around Sri Lanka. I'd say the location is a much better stop than Columbo The hotel was extremely clean, comfortable and there was no noise so you'll get an excellent night sleep before or after your flight I would 100% recommend. Thanks again to all the team for making it a really enjoyable stay

泊まってはいけないホテル

宿泊の際の値段詐欺に遭いました。 エクスペディアからは、５泊75＄（トリプルルーム）で予約完了しているにも関わらず、夜10時すぎにホテルの従業員がやってきて、トリプルルームだから１泊30＄（５泊なので差額分75＄を追加）払えと言われました。 予約時の料金の概要を見せても、エクスペディアのミスだと言われ、話が噛み合わないままとなった。 あきらめて１泊30＄を払ってチェックアウトしました。 ホテルの場所は、空港から1900ルピーで行ける所。だが、夜遅いと、辺りは暗くて近所のスーパーに行くのも危険である。 タクシーがないと出歩くのも難しい。また、数は多くはないが近くを汽車が走っている。汽笛の音がうるさく、部屋にいても耳障りであった。 部屋は、見えない所に、多数のクモの巣がある。あまり清掃が行き届いていない。 また、部屋の窓が開いており、多数の虫が部屋に侵入していた。カーテンで窓が隠れており、気が付くのが遅れてしまうと虫が大量に侵入するので注意が必要。同様に、シャワールーム・トイレの窓も開きっぱなしであった。 フロントの階からエレベーターに乗るためには、階段を８段程、上がらないといけない。
