"Room was refurbished on the inside but the fit and finish was sub par - to the point where security was a concern for me. Most concerning was the flimsy thin ply patched over the main entrance door. The door between the lounge and bedroom wouldn’t shut due to bad fit / installation. Big gaps between the external sliding door and wall create drafts for wind and extra outside noise"

"New property with off street parkingand within walking distance to Sylvia Park shopping mall. Comfortable bed and the room was warm and cosy. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking facilities and utensils as well as a dining table and chairs. An iron and ironing board were also available in the wardrobe. The bathroom and shower were great with fresh towels provided as required. Highly recommended. Will definitely stay again. Price was excellent . "

"Easy parking, nice surrounds. The staff were all helpful and friendly. The restaurant was quite expensive but the food was pretty nice. The rooms were fairly spacious, very clean and modern and cosy. Comfy beds. The pool was lovely, too many kids though (lol). Would recommend if you don't mind staying somewhere random in the middle of nowhere :D "

"My partner and I stayed here for our 2 year wedding anniversary and the staff could not have been nicer!! They were so lovely from check in to check out making sure we had what we needed and providing that beautiful location for us to stay in. The decor in the house and our room in particular was stunning, rich and colourful. We would 100% recommend staying here as it’s only a 2 minute walk to the train station that takes you practically everywhere around Auckland!! Thank you Aachen House :))"

"Grange motel had the beds we needed and the kitchenette we wanted. It has a surprisingly high rating for a low budget place. I’m glad we stayed, would consider staying again, but it is a generous 3 star. Management was excellent and very helpful/friendly. "
