"Staff was excellent- "

"his was my first time I felt unsafe staying at a hotel. Things started off rocky when the receptionist read my room number out loud 2 separate times. I tried to shake it off, there was only 1 person in line behind me and I just wanted to get up to the room. Me and my friend get in the elevator, carrying all of our luggage, and were joined by a man I hadn’t see outside/in the lobby. He wasn’t carrying any bags and when he got in the elevator he didn’t press a floor number. He made small talk and we tried to be polite but also not engage. He gets off the elevator with us and as I’m trying to figure out which way to go it’s very clear he’s following us. Apparently he “forgot where his room was”. I tell my friend we had the wrong floor and as we’re getting back in the elevator he’s right behind us asking questions that are very over the line. We had to block him from getting back in the elevator. We immediately went to the front desk to voice our concerns and were brushed off. They said he was a nice guy and he stays there frequently. We make our way back up to our room quickly, making sure he’s not still trying to follow us. It felt like our concerns weren’t taken seriously due to the relationship between the staff and this man. My friend stayed up most of the night worried about him getting our room number or being able to access our room. The hotel itself seemed clean, nothing it of the ordinary. Please proceed with caution if looking to stay here "

"Everyone on staff is very nice, but the breakfast has declined, the facility is somewhat worn, and the gym is very small (two treadmills and free weights). I had an unusually hard time connecting to wifi and many of the outlets in my room didn't work. There was none next to my bed. This is my third stay in 3 years. I'm noticing a change each time. "

"Ac unit wasn’t working for first 2 days before they fixed it. Not enough light in room. They told us that they clean room once a week only. Their main counter and breakfast area is very nice but their stay buildings are not. Be aware that reception building is not where you will stay so online photos are misleading. "

"Our Tru hotel stay was truly a pleasant experience. Everyone was courteous and cleanliness of the room and common areas is to be commended. I especially love their pops of color everywhere and the lounge area with the pool table etc was a nice touch. The hotel was modern as well with more than ample parking. They had a white board with suggestions for food and things to do which was appreciated as well. Keep it light and bright Tru!!!"
