The building is definitely showing some wear and tear. The rooms, however, are quite spacious, the beds are comfortable, and there is plenty of hot water. The hotel's close proximity to Duke Hospital was a definite plus for us. Additionally, the hotel's close proximity to I-85 and other Durham freeways made it easy to quickly be at any of many restaurants, grocery stores and shopping malls.

Good location and clean

Good location near Duke hospital. Old hotel and there was limited parking available due to the number of what appeared to be work trucks. Room was clean and comfortable. Bear minimum for breakfast but over all, clean, I felt safe and would stay here again.

The staff are polite and oh so happy to help make your stay perfect. The rooms are very clean and inviting. My husband and I have stayed here for years when he visits the BA, a short distance down the street. I feel comfortable here while he is in the hospital, and always have. Great place to stay!
