The hotel is in a great area, surrounded by great places to eat within very short walking distances... parking is horrible unless you pay lots of money... the room was really neat, large with a full kitchen... when we arrived in the room one side of the room had no electricity for hours and for hours electricians were in and our.... no TV working either... I am appreciative that the electricians did not stop until they got it working....my card was charged for my room the day I checked in and this morning I was doubled charged..and they also charged my roommate the total charge of the room...I went down to the front desk and they said it wil take 2-4 days to correct... this is unacceptable... I will say the hotel gave us chips and water for the inconvenience as a gesture, but I would rather they fix the charges of our room immediately.... would I stay again yes and pray I have no reoccurring issues.

This is a new, fresh, clean hotel in a revitalized area of new apartments and restaurants. The concept is a very good design- lovely bathroom and comfortable furnishings. Easy ride share pick up and drop off. Only stayed for one evening but would do so again.

My husband and I stayed here for the first time recently and we are disappointed. Parking with the valet is $35! The HVAC system in our room hummed so loudly a sounded like it could blow at any moment. And my husband left a brand new pair of jeans and socks on top of the safe in the closet. Our fault! We were one hour away when we realized this and called the property. I was told that housekeeping had already left for the day and t call back the next morning to speak with Janette. We offered to come back right then to retrieve the items before returning to Wilmington, NC. They told us no. That the room had been cleaned and is now being occupied. The next morning I called as instructed and reached someone at the front desk. He wouldn't transfer me to Janette and instead said he would speak with her and call me back. This was an hour later! When he called he stated the room had been checked and there was no sign of the jeans or the socks. My husband was so upset because he had just purchased the jeans for $100. The socks were Ralph Lauren for $30. And my husband had $270 CASH in his pants pockets of the jeans he was using for tips, drinks and dining in the restaurant on-site called High Rail. We will NOT be staying there again nor will we recommending the hotel to any friends or family. I cannot stand dishonesty! We KNOW we left the jeans, socks, and money on top of the safe in the room in the closet. And even offered to drive an hour back to pick up the items! I am disgusted!
