Directions: Head northwest, turn left onto Rock Quarry Rd, then merge onto I-40 W. Take exit 298B for S Saunders St toward Downtown, continue onto McDowell St, and turn right onto W Jones St; the museum will be on your right.

2. Pullen Park
Address: 520 Ashe Ave, Raleigh, NC 27606
Distance: Approximately 18 minutes (8 miles)
Directions: Take Rock Quarry Rd to I-40 W. Use exit 298B for S Saunders St toward Downtown, continue onto McDowell St, then turn right onto Western Blvd. Turn left onto Ashe Ave; the park entrance will be on your left.

3. Marbles Kids Museum
Address: 201 E Hargett St, Raleigh, NC 27601
Distance: Approximately 15 minutes (6.5 miles)
Directions: Proceed northwest, turn left onto Rock Quarry Rd, and continue onto E Martin St. Turn right onto S Blount St, then left onto E Hargett St; the museum will be on your left.

4. Historic Yates Mill County Park
Address: 4620 Lake Wheeler Rd, Raleigh, NC 27603
Distance: Approximately 20 minutes (12 miles)
Directions: Head southwest, turn right onto Rock Quarry Rd, then merge onto I-40 W. Take exit 297 for Lake Wheeler Rd, turn left onto Lake Wheeler Rd, and continue for about 3 miles; the park entrance will be on your right.

Address: 2401 Old Milburnie Rd, Raleigh, NC 27604
Distance: Approximately 20 minutes (10 miles)
Directions: Turn left onto Rock Quarry Rd, then right onto New Hope Rd. Continue onto Buffaloe Rd, then turn left onto Old Milburnie Rd; the trailhead parking will be on your left.

Disappointed

We never got to stay the host and thd owners had some miscommunication and somehow double booked the home leaving myself and my family who drove over 12 hours for a wedd3 with no where to stay the host fid try to find something to accommodate us but unfortunately there was nothing available for us the host did give us a refund but hung up on us after I can't leave a review for the property but as far as the experiencee it was aweful and very inconvenient
