This was the best stay, wildly above and beyond my expectations which were already high. The entire staff was incredibly nice, professional and accommodating. Just to name a few, Morgan, Rosetta, Joyce, Rosetta, Poppy as GM, Lucia, Evelyn and Many, Many more including housekeeping and maintenance, were just top notch at what they do. Herman as a ranger was just so much fun, so professional and knowledgeable. You can tell the park cares so much about conservation while the lodge cares so much about hospitality. It was a blast. I can't recommend enough, and the moment I can I'd love to return. Can't thank the staff enough for making this an incredibly memorable trip for our family.

Tau Game Lodge is a positive experience, but I do think things can be improved for the price of the booking. Its a perfect location for the Instagram fanatics and the social media hungry, so can be little frustrating when you just want to enjoy the experience and others just want to post it. James our guide was very good and accommodated our young son for him to experience the safari through a shorter trip, as the main safari trips are 3 hours twice per day. Children's facilities could be improved. Plastic play area in a safari reserve doesn't fit the image. The employees were very good and engaging with our son and I thank them for that as there were limited facilities for him during the long days. You can't really leave the complex. Swimming pools are too cold during the off season and could easily be heated through solar heating. You couldn't relax in the pool as it was so cold. Food is good, but not worth the cost of booking. It should be better and offer better alternatives, and charging for soft drinks is a bit of a farce. Safari is a positive experience and the water hole does allow you to see the animals without joining all the safari trips. Its a one time experience. I did enjoy seeing many guests decked out in their designer safari gear they will only wear once. Its sad that people can't just enjoy the experience instead of having to post the "show". I understand now why the complex doesn't link WIFI to the lodges.

Best of Bushveld.

Excellent location of the game lodge. Fantastic game drives, were very well taken care of by our ranger Dylan who was expert at everything.The chef made extra effort to cook some veg recipes.Very friendly and polite staff.Will surely visit again.

Schöne Lodge mit gutem Essen

Wir waren erstaunt, dass die Getränke nicht im (hohen) Preis inbegriffen waren. Zudem hätten wir uns gewünscht, dass die Autos für die Gamedrives nicht überfüllt werden, d.h. nicht mehr als 6 Pers. Das WLAN war sehr schlecht. Ansonsten war alles super, sehr freundliches Personal und das Wasserloch lockte viele Elefanten, Zebras etc. an.

Prachtig complex, geweldige verzorging en dito keuken. Safaris optimaal (inzet ranger en wildlife). Kamer gedateerd en eigenlijk ondermaats in vergelijking met het geheel.

Incredible experience

We really loved our stay in this hotel, as soon as we walked in, we saw lots of elephants and entelopes drinking from the waterhole which is next to the hotel, it was jaw dropping experience. We loved our reice a day fame drives too and were able to see all big 5. Were able to drive to animals really close. Food was also amazing and changed frequently

Ein Safariurlaub lohnt sich :)

Die Lodge ist an einem Wasserloch gelegen, dadurch hat man die Möglichkeit, schon aus dem Zimmer oder dem Restaurant die ersten Tiere zu beobachten. Das gesamte Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und die Ranger auf den Safariausfahrten kennen sich gut aus. Die Zimmer sind sauber und gut ausgestattet.

Tau game lodge was an experience of a lifetime. The staff was so nice & accommodating. I highly recommend this property. Our assigned ranger Derek was extremely knowledgeable, kind and professional.

Right on the water hole!!

Lots of animals to see from your room and common area. Clean, friendly staff. The rangers who take you out on safaris are quite knowledgeable.
