Casa Emy

CASA EMY (RENEWED IN 2021) is a 120 m2 apartment plus 60 m2 of terrace that enjoys an excellent location, very close to the historic center of Rapallo, a few steps from the station, 8 minutes walk from the sea.It is located in a green and quiet setting, ideal for a relaxing holiday. It has a double bedroom, a twin bedroom with single beds and a cot for babies and a double sofa bed in the living room, suitable for hosting both a large family or couples of friends.Both bedrooms are welcoming and bright and have private bathrooms, one with a shower and the other with a bathtub. The bathrooms have been recently renovated. You also have a large and new equipped kitchen at your disposal. Its strong point is the terrace that offers a panoramic view of the city. The apartment has a free 20 mega internet connection for the entire period. Since 2016, an air conditioning system has been set up in the bedrooms and in the living room.Upon request, it is possible to have a private garage available (2.2 m x 5.6 m x h 2.2 m) included in the price which is located in the same building.

Fantastic Appartment

We loved our stay at this apartment. My wife and our two girls stayed here for 10 days. About the location - Rapallo is a great central place to visit the Ligurian coast. From here, we walked about 8 mins to the train station for trips to Cinque Terre, Genoa, Camogli and Milan. We also did day trips from the ferry to Portofino, Santa Margherita and San Fruttuoso. - there's lots of great restaurants, bars, cafes, groceries and bakeries less than 5 mins away in the Centro Storico and along the waterfront About the Condo - its very clean and very well maintained. The rooftop patio has incredible views of the city and surrounding mountains. The soccer pitch was great for entertainment as well. If there's one thing that would take this place to the next level it would be adding a few more amenities to the patio. It's a massive space and adding some extra seating area + a few plants could really make this place a show-stopper. It's not a downfall, just a decorating idea. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to any of our family or friends.

Perfect vacation rental for discovering Luguria

The property is fantastic, exactly as pictured and described in the listing. Very convenient location, within walking distance to city centre and train station. Free parking box a big plus. Communication with hosts was easy and responses were always very prompt. Casa Emy was the perfect base for exploring Rapallo, Portofino, Camoglia, San Fruttuoso and Genoa during our 1-week stay. Highly recommend.

Amazing Penthouse 5star

The apartment was easy to locate and we were greeted by lovely Elena, we had private parking space for our hired car. The penthouse is as described on Vrbo. It’s in a lovely seaside town. Located near the shops, supermarket and restaurants . The apartment was fully equipped with everything a home needs, hairdryer, iron, washing machine and dishwasher. Kitchen fully equipped with coffee machine, microwave and toaster. There is so much room to dine in kitchen,lounge or on the large balcony, I will miss the amazing views and grateful for the silent air conditioning . we were so happy and hope to come back soon. Thank you Elena for your kindness maybe next time we get to meet you Guisy. Amazing penthouse in a beautiful town. Arrivederci xx

Geräumiges Appartement, mit toller Terrasse

Aufenthalt im Aug./Sept. 2020 Wir hatten einen sehr guten Einstieg, mit dem sehr herzlichen Empfang von Giusy, unserer Vermieterin. Das Appartement entsprach genau der Beschreibung. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und geräumig, sehr praktisch waren die beiden Bäder. Das Beste jedoch ist die große Terrasse, welche wir ausgiebig genutzt haben, z.B. um die Abende bei einem Gläschen Wein ausklingen zu lassen. Die Wohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man auch für einen längeren Aufenthalt benötigt. Das Appartement hat eine hervorragende, zentrale Lage. Man ist sehr schnell im Supermarkt (2-3 Minuten), beim Bäcker (ebenfalls 2-3 Minuten), in der Altstadt (5 Minuten) oder am Wasser (keine 10 Minuten). Selbst der Bahnhof ist in 5 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Wir haben uns in Casa Emy sehr wohl gefühlt, würden es jederzeit wieder buchen und können es nur weiter empfehlen. Das wir uns in Casa Emy so wohl gefühlt haben, lag auch mit an der Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft unserer Vermieterin Giusy, welche immer für uns da war und für deren herzliche Gastfreundschaft wir uns nochmals bedanken möchten. alles in dit appt is aanwezig, terras, de kamers, woning, gebouw, alles is even mooi en top de afstand naar promenade binnen 8 min. Trein 5 min, wat een gave locatie en uitzicht, verhuurders reageren altijd en snel, goed bereikbaar, eigen parking is helemaal top. Tot de vlg keer

Go here! Great base to explore the region!

What a great apartment! It is very spacious and it is exactly as advertised. The view from the very large outside area is lovely and it is only about a 5 minute walk from the old centre of Rapallo. This means you have the quiet you need on a vacation but are really close to all the restaurants, the sea and hustle and bustle of the city. The apartment is clean, has good facilities like a dishwasher and a washing machine (should you need to use it if you stay longer). The beds are comfortable and the hosts are most gracious. Guiseppina and her sister made us feel welcome. There is information about the area in the apartment if you need it and you have a garage to park your car. We visited Cinque Terre which is only about a 45 minute trainride away and the railway station is also only about a 5 minute walk. This is an exellent base to explore the area and would be our first pick again if we would visit the area a second time. TIP 1: rent a boat well in in advance in summer (week - 2 weeks) if you want to enjoy traversing the seawaters without a skipper. A lot of boat rentals were full when we asked and not all are that friendly. We have a very good experience with Giorgio Gnecco +39 338 9177673. We did not call but went further up the harbour in search for a boat. They have exellent service and great boats which you do not need to have a permit for. TIP 2: In Summer, the restaurants at the most popular places are booked for lunch, Portofino went fine but San Fruttuoso, the restaurant on top of Rapallo when you take the funucolar (or something like that) are booked. Book at least a day in advance. Certainly for the villages in Cinque Terre. Go to Torre Aurora Mare Cucina & Cocktails in Monterosso, it has a great view of the bay, so book in advance! Go here, you will love it :)

Wonderful spacious place in perfect location

We stayed with our family of six (2 adults and 4 children) a couple of days in Rapallo. The apartment is very big, airy and the balcony/ roof terrace is a great place to spend time. We also enjoyed watching the football matches played next to the apartment. Shops are around the corner and the beach too. Public beach isn’t big but close and there are loads of places where you can rent sunbeds, etc. for a day or half a day. Guisy was really helpful and gave us some tips about what to do and where to eat. Although eating in the apartment on the roof terrace is also great and everything you need is in the kitchen. During our stay we walked to Portofino and took the boat back. Definitely something to do when you are there. We would definitely book again when we visit Rapallo.

Rapallo stay

This was by far the homiest if our places to stay! Loved the lay out and gigantic balcony with wonderful views all around. My hisband enjoyed the soccer matches below and I also loved the convenience of a huge wash room (washer only) and full kitchen for cooking. Very family friendly place and town. So much storage space for longer term stays. Thankyou for your hospitality!

Loved staying in the apartment - wonderful welcome by Giusy

My friend Jan and I loved our time staying in the apartment in Rapallo. It had everything we needed for a perfect stay. What a treat it was to have the facilities (and that fabulous balcony) to enjoy a relaxing five day stay. The closeness to the supermarket, other shops and restaurants was most convenient. Similarly, the closeness to the railway station meant we could travel on busses and trains to go on day trips to Santa Margherita, Portofino and Cinque Terre. Thank you so much, Giusy, for the attention you gave us. It was very much appreciated. Your wonderful welcome provided all the information we needed to feel at home in the apartment and find our way around Rapallo. We were really grateful for your immediate response to our queries about the door key! We were particularly thankful for your willingness to go that extra mile (with your daughter) to help us on departure to get on the train to Milan with our luggage. I honestly do not know what we would have done getting on that train without you. I heartily recommend a stay in this apartment. Not only is Rapallo a beautiful place to spend time. The apartment feels more like a home than a holiday rental. It was a privilege to stay there. The kindness and helpfulness of Guisy was outstanding and I will remember the time spent in the apartment in Rapallo with great fondness for years to come.

Greeted with a warm welcome to a lovely bright apartment

The property has everything that you could need during your stay. As well as air conditioning in the rooms there are also large tower fans. The flat is airy, light and large. Most importantly the beds are comfortable. Giuseppe (hope it’s the right spelling) was warm and welcoming. She speaks very good English and gives useful information about the area. There’s plenty of supermarkets nearby and it’s just a short walk into town. I would absolutely recommend a stay here.

Very specious and comfy apartament.

We spent at this apartment A whole week. It is located very near to city centre and in a quiet street. We had a good contact with the owner and she always responded to our queries. We are the family with 4 kids and had enough space for everyone. The apartment has also a beautiful balcony with a magnificent view on the town and mountains. Great to have a breakfast there or evening dinner.

Nice apartment with great terrace

Spacious and clean apartment with well equipped kitchen and two good bathrooms. Taking a shower in the bath tub is no longer a problem, Giusy has installed a screen! Reception was very friendly by her sister Elena, she gave us a good introduction and nice tips. Location is close by supermarket and the promenade. We walked the red carpet trail to Portofino and enjoyed the Funivia to Montallegro, walking downhill afterwards. We had a very nice time staying here.

Enjoyable stay!

The apartment is spacious - 2 bedrooms of good size and large living room. The furnishings are simple but functional and clean. Location is good - 5 - 10 minutes walk to the city center and the sea promenade, 5 min walk to the train station where you can take a train to St. Margherita, Sestri Levante, Cinque Terre and Genoa. Not far is the ferry terminal where you can take a boat to St. Margherita, Portofino, St. Fruttuoso. The property has a large balcony with a great view of the city and the mountains. Wi-Fi works fine. There are 2 bathrooms , though one has a small shower, the other is a bath with the shower, but no curtains - that's a minus, since you are afraid to splash the water.The other minus - pigeons make loud noises in the morning. I hope the owner could take care of this problem. In general, we had an enjoyable stay. It was a good value for the money. Giusy was very helpful and friendly. We would recommend this property.

Very nice appartement and guisy is perfect host...

The apartment is exactly as described, the terrace is large and very convenient and the apartment big with two bathrooms, and very clean. The place is very close to city center, bakery supermarket and attractions, you can walk there in 10 mn. The garage is perfect to park the car during the whole stay and use public transportation as apartment is close to train, bus and boat. Guisy is perfect host and will do her best to make your stay as good as possible: we had a problem with washing machine and alerted Guisy. The next day, technician was there and recommended replacement of the equipment. The next day, a new washing machine has been installed and ready to use ! Yes I recommend to contact Guisy.

Spacious and centrally situated

The property is simple, spacious and clean, situated centrally. 5 - 10 minutes by foot to the shops, restaurants and sea front. No need of a car as there is a boat trip to the other historic towns such as St. Margharitta, Portofino, St. Fructuoso. The property is self contained with a large balcony with a fantastic view of the city and the mountains around it. We had a comfortable stay and enjoyable holiday. The owner was very helpful and friendly. Would recommend this property.

Excellent value for money.

As stated in previous reviews the apartment is exactly as shown in the photographs provided. However, it is necessary to point out how spacious the lounge and bedrooms actually are and above all else there is the very large surrounding terrace. To walk into town is just a few minutes and there are the narrow streets,the shops and a Variety of bars and restaurants that you would expect. The harbour is close by and there are boat trips to Portofino and the Cinque Terre area. The owner Guisy and her family were extremely welcoming and helpful, and thanks in particular go to her mother who arranged our taxi at the end of our stay. We had a excellent time in Rapallo and if we were to return we would not look anywhere else for accommodation than this property.

Good appartment with very large balcony

We stayed with a family of four people in this appartment in Rapallo. The appartment is very good, very clean and very spacious. The balcony is spectacular with a very nice view over the city of Rapallo and the mountains. We enjoyed every minute of our stay in this appartment. We would definitely go back to this appartment if we want to spend our holiday in the same area of Italy.
