Very nice hotel close to everything in Rapallo. The ferry to Cinque Terre or Portofino is right across the street. Delicious restaurants are also nearby. The staff at breakfast were super friendly and made delicious coffee. Very clean and have no complaints at all!

Great from start to finish!! Check-in was easy and the hotel staff gave us all the information we could’ve asked for about the town and surroundings. We didn’t know much about the town of rapallo before arriving but it turned out to be a beautiful place with lots of history, great cafes, bars and nightlife all walkable from the hotel in a great central location.

We were quite pleased with this hotel. Five minute walk from train. Directly across from the sea. Beautiful promenade to walk on close to many restaurants and shops. Breakfast was perfect. The owners And their daughter were very friendly and very helpful choosing restaurants. All of the staff was very accommodating and friendly. We would stay again in a heartbeat!!

I stayed 3 nights at this hotel and it was very nice. All staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in an excellent location, easy to walk everywhere in Rapallo, 5 minutes from the train station. It is also a 30 minute scenic walk to Santa Margherita. The restaurant next door is very good and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would return again.

Hotel Vesuvio the Gateway to the sea

The MANAGER was fantastic as he new all the local news.Cable car times, ferries running or not plus what time the Giro dITALIA would ride past the hotel. The beds were brillant and rooms very clean. Often you can be treated like a tourist where as the Hotel Vesuvio they treated you with care and respect.

Spent 5 nights here and could not have been more pleased. It's only a 5 minute stroll from the train station, so we were able to roll our luggage to the hotel with no problems. The on-site owner makes you feel welcome from the minute that you arrive and he very helpful with information about the area. The view from our balcony was magnificent, overlooking the lungomare, beach and Rapallo Harbor. The room was modern and kept very clean. The bathroom was large and totally updated (important). The breakfast (included) was excellent. We chose Rapallo because of its convenient location, transportation options, and cost-effectiveness. The town met all of our expectations. The Vesuvio exceeded them.

Ok hotel but not for the price we paid

The AC didn’t work, and the staff came up to check it and said all is fine. But we all know the difference between an old AC which only pump out wind from the fan and when the cooling actually works. It’s a huge difference. There was an old lady screaming every morning and evening in the next room, so the walls were thin. It hasn’t been renovated for a long while but the room was ok. But on the plus side, the view was great, nice balcony, nice service from the personnel. Family friendly and ok breakfast.
