  • After husking and grilling coconuts following amazing recipes I promised I won't disclose, we wanted some rest by the lagoon to enjoy the surroundings and incredible locals (those guys are absolutely amazing!!). We discovered this place slightly out of town but still at walking distance where we could enjoy the lagoon with Kayaks or even walking during low tide. We could enjoy the beaches on small islands facing the deck only inhabited by beautiful crabs. #LifeAtExpedia

We had a wonderful time and would certainly recommend the resort had everything we needed. The staff were exceptional. The accommodation was clean and tidy, bed fantastic, the window coverings however need a little attention. Eg broken blinds and ripped nets. Overall really happy. Thank you

Wonderful staff, very accomodating. Easy walk to the night markets, mini mart and museum. Rima's bakery is across the road and delicious. If you get the premium deal you get brekkie at the Nautilus and that is amazing. Planning our next trip!

Great location

Had a wonderful time in Rarotonga. Everyone was extremely friendly at the Muri Beach Resort. Quite resort, clean and beautiful gardens. Villa maybe getting a bit dated but great central place to stay

A lovely quiet resort on the lagoon. Pool is away from the beach which makes it perfect when the wind is up in the lagoon. Small pool, quiet resort. Good for small families with older, quiet kids and/or couples. No restaurant but options nearby. Bar is open weather permitting. Staff friendly and very helpful. Our flight was cancelled and they gave us a late check out and helped us to find alternate accomodation as the Island was almost full.

Nice decorated spacious room indoor and outdoor settings with plants around for privacy. Good Drying clothes lines right outside the room. Comfortable beds with air conditioner and quiet area. Good swimming pool, nice garden. Handy for meals next door at Nautilus hotel. Walking distance to Night Market, attractions and activities. Stay for 7 nights, although it’s self service it will be nice for one complimentary house keeping just vacuum the floor and charge dry towels as the room is not cheap. Good stay!

Directions for guests arriving on late flights using a rental car were a bit problematic but are now resolved after constructive recommendations and discussion with their delightful and cooperative management. Fantastic location right on the edge of the spectacular Muri lagoon and plenty of kayaks, SUPs, goggles, snorkels available for guest use. The restaurant does excellent breakfasts and dinners.

Great Muri Location

We stayed here pre COVID and I think the property has been neglected a bit since then. Still an awesome location and good sized villas but the bed was uncomfortable and the queen seemed small. Very quiet and family friendly and great being able to go next door to the Nautilus for dinner and Spa

We will definatly be back. Such friendly staff, clean rooms and the views on the beach amazing. The staff even bought us breakfast to our room,as they somehow knew our morning flight had been changed and we would miss out on our breakfast.

Staff friendly and helpful. Great welcome basket in fridge when we arrived. Spectacular pina coladas at beach bar. Perfect position on Muri beach. Walking distance to lots of things and bus stop right outside. Good room size with all we needed for a comfortable stay. Would definitely recommend Muri Beach Resort.

We absolutely loved our stay in a 2 bedroom villa. We had an extra bed in the living room which still left ample room for five people to enjoy the space. A stroll through the resort to the lagoon, hours spent kayaking and paddle boarding - bliss. A nice private deck at the villa to have breakfast, a gorgeous swimming pool, beautiful gardens and good car parking were all big ticks for us. We can’t wait to stay here again and will be booking another trip soon.
