Frequently asked questions

Are there vacation rentals in Rates?

Yes, we give you a choice of vacation rentals close to the most popular points of interest in Rates, or you can choose a more secluded option if you want a relaxing place to stay.

What are some of the best vacation home rentals that Rates has to offer?

Casa do Passeio - in the Historic Center: This vacation home rental outside of Rates is located by the ocean and has a balcony, a selection of books, and free WiFi to put you at ease in your new surroundings. It has 3 bedrooms as well as a kitchen with a dishwasher, a fridge, and a stovetop, so you can cook with friends or family.

What’s there to see and do in Rates?

While exploring the area, visit family-friendly sights like Maia Zoo, or get outside and enjoy nature at Apulia Beach. In the larger area, you’ll find Igreja dos Arcos no Caminho Portugues de Santiago and Praca do Almada.

What’s a vacation rental in Rates like?

Vacation rentals are privately owned properties you can book for several days or longer in Rates. Vacation rentals offer amenities such as hot tubs, fire pits, and patios so you'll have all the conveniences of home. If you're concerned about a clean environment, vacation rentals can provide a sense of security away from public hotel elevators and busy lobbies while still allowing you the experience of travel. You'll also find more space in a vacation rental than in a standard hotel, which is another reason why a vacation rental is a popular choice for family trips.
