Wow what an amazing place. A must visit! The views are amazing, staff incredible, food out of this world and the town quant and full of life. We left Positano early due to it not being our vibe. What a great decision

Everything was great, except the beds. Very old and unconfortable beds. It would be so easy to buy new beds and make this a perfect hotel... But again, the rest was great. Amazing view, amazing room and amazing staff.

10/10 such an amazing experience the city wasn’t too packed like Amalfi and Positano but even more beautiful. Locals were very nice the restaurants were amazing and so close so many options they were so clean I’d have a cleaning lady come in my room even if I was gone only 15 minutes I highly highly recommend anyone this hotel and city just an amazing experience truly I’m not just saying that I even learned a little bit of Italian and made some friends with locals it feels like I’m leaving my home. 11/10

Cold, relying on location and old name

Not very friendly at all. I got in around 8 from driving all day and the restaurant manager intentionally left me waiting at the entrance of the restaurant for 15 minutes before coming over to say that it was 9 and they couldn't do anything. Most all the restaurants were closed nearby and I hadnt eaten all day. Extremely discourteous, especially as a paying guest of the hotel. General attitude of displeasure when speaking with staff. Cold. The first room I went into (of which they had a very light occupancy at the time of the year) had a giant stain on the bedding, was hot with not fan or window, and a very weak wifi connection. Only until I asked for a new room was I shown a room feeling Im a bother.

Hotel Rufolo Ravello

Nice property located in ravello, pros: checkin was stress free and both ladies at reception were very kind and welcoming, swimming pool, amazing view from swimming pool of the sea, walking distance to the piazza and the bus stop at ravello to visit amalfi coast and other places along the coast. Cons: 1. avoid breakfast at the hotel and rather eat at the cafes which are in walking distance to the piazza (50m distance) 2. Rooms in need of refurbishment 3. The lady at Checkout was rude and we had an unpleasant experience. We had taken out 2 bottles from the minibar and kept it outside to make room for the juice we got from outside, she instead charged us and started accusing us when we said that the water bottles were not used by us and kept outside the minibar. The checkout was stressful because of that lady. The management must counsel the lady on customer service. 4. No Uber available so we had to take the local taxi to praiano which was expensive - 80 euros for one way transfer. 5. Hotel is

Mis-sold!

The room was dark, damp and not what we paid for. Claimed to have a mountain view but the garden was so overgrown there was no view. Hotel staff tried to convince us it was a superior room and they upgraded us..the only person that would agree this would be Stevie Wonder! Towels covered in the flaking ceiling from above due to the damp. They allowed us to move rooms and there we found the TV volume didn't work unless you actually "shook" the TV. The room in the picture on the website was beautiful but we got a dungeon! Breakfast was all tinned fruit and stale crossaints. I have never once complained about a hotel, but the service we received on our honeymoon was awful. All they wanted was our money. They allowed us to leave a night early after a 45 min confrontation, but they never understood our stance from a customers perspective. Quite a surprise as the town was gorgeous and defiantly recommend it! Just avoid this hotel at all costs as they really do not put their customers first!

If you expect a quiet stay, this wouldn’t be the spot. Second floor hotel rooms are directly under the restaurant that has tiled floor. If there is an event (which I understand might be only some weekends in the summer) you won’t be able to sleep. After the wedding ended at 12:30am seems like the entire restaurant was being rearranged with heavy furniture being dragged around till about 2am. I suggest you call ahead to verify what you should expect during your stay. Otherwise hotel would be quite enjoyable, clean and with a lovely view. Staff do not seem to care though if you log a complaint.
