I visited Regensburg more than 10 years ago and I had wanted to stay at this hotel for a long time.
We booked a room along the canal.
However, there was no hot water in the shower.
We asked them to change the room, but it was a room with almost no view of the canal, and it was damp because of the proximity of the spa facilities.
We were tired from the long drive, but it was so disappointing that we negotiated another change to a room along the canal, but again there was no hot water.
Finally, we changed 4 rooms.
The staff member who helped us check in apologized and said they suggested us a discount for this trouble.
But next morning the manager said no discount because they served two rooms for us.
As we had no time to argue because of train time, we were forced to give up the argument.
We were looking forward to our stay, but we were disappointed.
I enjoyed the city of Regensburg very much.
