Quick overnight in beautiful Reykjavik

You will not find a better location to experience the city. Very clean and everything you need. The most comfortable bed and sofa sleeper. Highly recommend.

Great location

Location was fabulous. Communication was a problem. We emailed the manager & got no reply. The bedroom light didn't work. One outlet in the kitchen didn't work. The curtains were so old they were stuck together & would not close because they were stuck to the rod. The radiator woke us up with a pounding noise twice. We had to wade to the garbage cans through some disgusting soupy stuff. Only 2 towels for 2 people for 10 days. No dresser to put clothes away. Rusty sign outside the window made noise whenever the wind blew, which was all the time. Given all that, and these things could be easily fixed, the location & convenience still made it a good trip.

Perfect location, in the heart of Reykjavik. Plenty of space for three people. Kitchen well supplied and the beds were warm and comfy. The host driver was amazingly helpful and cheerful. Would recommend without hesitation.

At The Crossroads Of Reykjavik

The apartment was perfectly located, although at night the young revelers can be heard carousing into the wee hours. The apartment has no elevator, which can make lugging a suitcase filled with winter clothes a challenge, to say the least. The toaster doesn’t work, and the walls need touch-ups here and there. The worst thing about the listing is that the instructions for entry do not take into account the possibility that another guest might push the “gate” closed, giving the impression that it is locked, particularly as there is a door cut on the left of the gate with a lock opening with a key, next to the wall to the left of which are the lock boxes from which the key to the apartment is to be found. I called the agent repeatedly to figure out how to get into the apartment without success. This happened as soon as I arrived. It took four hours before, by chance, another guest realized that all that had to be done to enter the passageway to the front door vestibule of the Odin apartment was to push hard on the right end of the gate. It looks as though there is a latch that would lock, but it is broken, so anyone can push their way into the front door to the apartments.
