We could not recommend Cuckoo Hill Lodge highly enough.

We could not recommend Cuckoo Hill Lodge highly enough. Everything about the lodge is perfect. From the lovely welcome with fresh eggs, Welsh cakes and milk, to the spotless cleanliness. We visited the lodge as two couples with two dogs and had the best time. The large enclosed garden was perfect for the dogs as they could roam around off the lead without us having to worry. The beds were very comfy and the lodge was warm and well stocked with everything you’d need. We spent one cosy evening watching tv in front of the log burner, and another enjoying the hot tub. Ann was very friendly and made our stay feel like a home away from home. The area surrounding the lodge has some great walks and scenery (Elan Valley is a must) and the town of Rhayader had nice pubs and cafes for food. It was the perfect weekend in perfect accommodation.
