The location is very convenient for touring Ribe. The owner is very nice and very helpful. We stayed in the courtyard room, and it was very nice. Older, of course, because it's in Ribe, but the shower was hot and the bed comfortable. The breakfast was tasty, and there's a bakery just up the street for on-the-road snacks. The parking was a little ways off at Lidl, but it was easy to unload/load nearer the hotel.

This property is essentially a bed and breakfast with just a few rooms in a historic part of Ribe. It has a certain rustic charm, but the cleanliness and upkeep left a lot to be desired. The shower curtain and shower head were not clean and the body wash-shampoo container was empty. The 4 poster bed was nice but the top had not been dusted in some time. The breakfast was lovely with fresh rolls and Scandinavian toppings. The gentleman who checked us in was polite and thorough with the instructions. He clearly works hard, but this establishment needs some more upkeep.

Great location, very friendly welcome. The room was on the slant but then again it is 100’s of years old. Shared toilet but not a problem. Nice little bar fridge upstairs where you can help yourself and pay later. Great breakfast, it will keep you fed till the evening.

Characteristic old hotel in the very old town of Ribe. It felt like we went back in time. The shared bathroom for 3 rooms worked fine. Loved the slanted floors. Owner is friendly and fun. The breakfast was good and filling. We loved the whole experience. Free car parking outside the old town was great.

We had a great stay here. It’s in an old building, so can’t be compared to a modern hotel as far as amenities, but we had everything we needed, and the manager was great. The only thing I would suggest is a mirror near an outlet. Staying in a building this old is special, as is the rest of the old town.

Opholdet på Hotel Postgården i Ribe var helt perfekt Gammel stil men pænt og rent over det hele. Personalet finder man ikke bedre - det var en fornøjelse at tale lidt med dem, hver gang man mødes. Altid tid til en lille snak og med godt humør. Vi havde 4 overnatninger med morgenmad, som var fint med rundstykker og pålæg m.m og hvad dertil hører. Kun positiv oplevelse fra os og kommer vi på disse kanter igen, vil vi ikke tøve med at bestille overnatning igen. Venlig hilsen fra to "gamle" pensionister fra Horsens egnen.
