Lovely room, liked the extra touch of fresh milk for tea and coffee in the fridge outside the room for everyone. Lovely food small portions, but everything was good. Plenty of parking. Breakfast was good, would stay again
welcoming friendly staff, small choice of cask ale which is rotated every couple of weeks. Food was excellent as was breakfast. Ideal inn for a relaxing break
A credit its staff and owners
Excellent hosts for our special nights celebration. Lovely situation in the most Northern of the Yorkshire Dales Arkengarthdale.
Lovely evening meal to end our stay
Very spacious room with views of the hills.
Great food and beer on site and a room car park adjacent. The outdoor furniture had seen better days however.
It is a few years since I’ve eaten there but what a pleasure it was to stay overnight in such a comfortable room. The food was lovely (proper pie) and the Viking bitter really hit the spot after a gruelling walk. The staff were courteous and accommodating. We could not have asked for more.
