Lovely hotel with helpful staff. Clean and convenient for what we wanted. However, we were staying on the top floor and there was no lift. My husband suffers with his knees and it was a little heavy on them having climbing 4 flights of stairs with luggage.

A really lovely, friendly hotel in the centre of Richmond. Lots of pubs, restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. Great breakfast. Can't fault the place.

Kings head hotel richmond . Amazing stay we came from sunderland for a couple of days after getting married was a beautiful chilled place to stay loved every minute

Historic location in an interesting town

Showing some signs of wear but still plenty of evidence of its former glory days, rooms were comfortable and staff efficient. Breakfast choice was good and cooked food tasty. The toaster is a learning challenge! Central location can make parking another challenge but readily available free discs allow a 2 hour Market Place stay for loading/unloading. The castle and riverside are close by, accessed by steep slopes.

Very pleasant stay in the center of a charming market town with many independent shops with the castle and the river to explore. The staff were excellent and made us very welcome. We found everything that you could possibly want in our rooms - quality bedding, Nespresso coffee machine, high quality toiletries, and many other nice touches. Breakfast was excellent. There was good parking at the rear (payable).

One night stay

Last minute booking and we were upgraded at check-in. Lovely room with large bath and double shower, robes comfy bed and all the extras that made our stay. Breakfast was plentiful and table service. The staff were welcoming and very helpful. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Room with a view of the travelling fair.

Had a great stay. Staff all friendly and helpful, room was very clean. Great location too. My only minor criticism was the full english breakfast was over cooked on my last day. There was a traveling fair on our weekend stay though this didnt cause any problems during our stay. I would definitely recommend staying in this hotel.

Lovely hotel. Lots of nice touches in the bedroom...radio, games etc. Very comfy bed and hotel full of antiques. Didn't feel like part of a chain Great breakfast. Prime position in central Richmond but nightmare to park in the middle of the day so had to begrudgingly had to pay £15 for hotel car park.

We stayed for 2 nights at the kings head and the rooms were fantastic. We had breakfast included which was lovely. Staffing was sparse, the first breakfast we had to ask multiple times for items such as cutlery, side plates but the second morning was much more enjoyable albeit a wait for the hot food. We ate one night in the restaurant of which I wouldn’t do again, menu small and chips arrived warm at best. Staff however, were friendly and always happy to help so I would stay again.
