"Wonderful hotel. Clean, big, nice bathroom. Beds were comfortable. Loved the proximity to many area attractions. The restaurant was excellent as well as the breakfast. Lovely area. Wish I had stayed more than one night."

"Clean place, I ended up there by chance and on arrival we got a lot of attitude and ended up in a twin bedded room in the attic where you banged your head on the ceiling in 60% of the room if you are over 1.80m ... not what I paid for but I was too tired to try and educate the rude receptionist how to speak and treat guests.... It takes a lot for me to write a review and I apologise if the staff think it was us that was the problem staying in their place."

"We enjoyed our stay at this property. It was a typical small European hotel/pension. And was a different hotel experience for my family who are used to large chain hotels. This property was simple, clean and sufficient for our needs to visit a beautiful area close to the Bavarian castles. "My family had a wonderful time at Hotel Maximillian! The rooms are clean, well appointed, and the beds are super comfy. The view out the window is picture perfect of beautiful mountains. The location is quiet, with plenty of parking. The restaurant is excellent! We went into town one night and paid twice as much for dinner, and it wasn't nearly delicious as the meals we had in the hotel restaurant. The best part of the hotel is the staff! "Unfortunately we were given a different room to the one we booked (smaller but still ok for one night). Coffee machine in restaurant was pretty terrible. Breakfast spread was good. Close to highway so pretty loud most of the day."
