"The story of this amazing home goes back to the 1500. Many beautiful details at the same time sad to see the grounds are not looked after. Even winter grounds could be magnificent with proper care. "There was no safe in our room as stated when we booked. The hotel is very tired looking, wallpaper hanging off walls, cracked toilet seat and only 1 charging point in our room. Breakfast was okay nothing spectacular. Staff on reception were very pleasant and accommodating."
