The room was spotless and very comfortable. The staff were all friendly and very helpful. There was a great choice at breakfast and the rooftop restaurant was cosy, with great views, excellent staff and great food and wine.

Great location

Thank you for amazing stay during Christmas time at Gutenbergs hotel.We were greeted by friendly and welcong receptionist Baiba who made sure we have a queen bed room instead of twin room, breakfast was nice in a nice room downstairs, location was great just stones throw from Doma laukums with all Christmas markets and ambience, recommend if you like to stay in the nicest part of Riga

This is a beautiful hotel right in the center of Old Riga (the Cathedral, which marks the effective center of the city, is next door). Great value for money. All of the key historical sites are within walking distance. The room was clean and had a unique style. The view from the rooftop restaurant is great. The breakfast is great. I have no complaints.

The location is excellent, directly in the old town area. It’s close to everything on foot or by tram. The hotel room was ok. It was spacious and clean. Two issues I found: the mattress dipped in the middle and it smelled dusty, which aggravated my allergies. The rooftop restaurant had great views, excellent service and delicious food.

Service was friendly. Good location, good breakfast. Some of details in our room were a bit impractical. Soap dispenser was in an awkward location. Light switches had a weird logic. Room looked nice and our double bed was spacious.

The room itself was charming, I liked it a lot. There was no AC, but it was cool enough w the window open. WiFi was not the best in the room itself, but it sufficed. The bathroom smelled horribly like mildew, and the towels were super thin. Otherwise, I would say it was a good stay.
