We had a great stay here. The hotel staff took good care of us. Breakfast was nice. We had steamboat dinner which was also nice. We will definitely come back, hopefully soon.

Beautiful and rustic european style property with serene views and tranquility. Nice lounge and restaurant serving delicious food although pricey. The breakfast was awesome. Staff and services were very good. The most surprising and unique service was the complementary daily car wash. Highly recommended to those who look for a relaxing and authentic Cameron Highlands experience.

Overall speaking, it is a good experience - the staff are friendly, old fashion construction. But, really really complete on the bathroom - bathtub water drains just slow, furthermore, the construction of shower bath room just totally room, it cannot stop the water from shower "flow" out. after shower, the whole bathroom just "flood"

Quaint hotel in the Cameroon Highlands

This is a quaint hotel in the Cameroon Highlands. Here you can enjoy high tea in the afternoon or in the evening you can sit before the fireplace and enjoy a drink. Because of the high elevation it is cool in the evenings so that you can sleep with the bedroom window open and enjoy the cool night air. The hotel has a classical feel with all the modern conveniences. The food is excellent in the restaurant. We will definitely come again if we are ever in the highlands again.

Service was extremely good, and since the hotel does not have many rooms and therefore not many guests, the staff were very attentive. Every morning our car was wiped, a small gesture, but nonetheless we felt pampered.

Nice Romantic Getaway

Wonderful stay at the Lakehouse but a bit pricey

Excellent 1 night stay in the Lakehouse. Had a afternoon tea set, dinner and breakfast. I was generally satisfied with the food(especially bread!) but wanted more variety of the breakfast buffet considering hotel fee. However, the garden made our family wow as it was greenery and flowers were beautiful. With a cool breeze, It was such a wonderful experience to enjoy the time at the garden. We loved the English charm of the hotel although hotel room was a bit older than I expected. It was generally well-kept and clean. The only concern was the shortage of hot water. You have to wait 20 minutes after other person finished shower, The water tank for hot water in each room was quite small so I couldn't enjoy the time in the bathtub even there is one!! This is a problem that really needed to be improved. Overall, I relaxed and had a wonderful stay in the Lakehouse although I think hotel fee is a bit pricey. I would probably visit this hotel again if I come to Cameron Highland next time. Thanks for the kind staffs and complimentary service of cleaning my car!

A taste of England

It was a romantic getaway over a public holiday weekend. Glad we chose this hotel as there were no crowds or long queues to contend with even with full occupancy. Excellent afternoon tea & breakfast spread. Enjoyed our guided hike too! The hotel is located lower in the Highlands so the drive up was not bad even with holiday traffic. Staff were helpful and gave good impression of HPL hotels.

Een oase in de Cameron Highlands

In de Lake House ben je in de wereld die je associeert met de Cameron Highlands: schoon, helder, rustig, luxueus. Het ontbijt is waanzinnig uitgebreid en lekker. Tot en met honing vers van de honingraat. Super. Open haard vuur in de twee lounges. Bloemen in je kamer. Fantastische oase in (helaas) de toeristische hectiek van de Cameron Highlands!

Das Hotel ist wirklich eine kleine Wohlfühloase - auch wenn man sich erst einmal daran gewöhnen muss, ein solches Hotel in Malaysia vorzufinden. Es ist nicht unbedingt sehr Malaiisch ;-) Leider mussten wir unseren Aufenthalt vorzeitig abbrechen, aber die Zeit, die wir im Lakehouse verbracht haben, haben wir sehr genossen. Sie Zimmer sind sehr gemütlich, das Personal sehr zuvorkommend.
