I honestly regret booking this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the experience was frustrating. The older man at reception was incredibly rude and dismissive, acting like basic customer service was too much to ask. The younger staff member at least acknowledged the issue, but did absolutely nothing to help—basically telling us we either had to pay for the hotel parking or go find somewhere else. So even when they knew it was wrong, they still forced us into it. The elevator situation is a joke. I waited nearly 10 minutes for it multiple times—at that point, you’re honestly better off taking the stairs every single time. One of the biggest problems was the false advertising. The website clearly suggests that parking is included, which is completely misleading. In reality, you’re expected to pay for street parking, not hotel parking. Even when this was pointed out, the older receptionist refused to take any responsibility or offer any kind of solution. Just denial and attitude. Breakfast was another disappointment—exact same options every single day with zero variety. It got old fast. The pool? Completely overcrowded, to the point where it’s not even enjoyable. And everything is overpriced for what you actually get. The room itself was also nothing like the photos. Instead of anything remotely scenic, the view was just old buildings and other hotel rooms—definitely not what was advertised. The ONLY positive part of this stay was the cleaning staff. The staff was very kind, attentive, and always willing to help. The hotel is also centrally located in Copacabana, which makes it convenient for exploring the area. Unfortunately, the property itself feels old and poorly maintained. There is a noticeable lack of upkeep throughout the hotel, with peeling paint, loose furniture pieces, and even exposed cables coming out of the ceiling in the buffet area. The breakfast buffet was also disappointing. Most of the food did not taste good, the eggs were cold and overcooked, and I even found hairs in my fruit, which was quite unpleasant.

Room was.OK . There was a.leak in the bathroom and they never showed to fix the safe. Bell hop and cleaning lady very attentive so two the counter guys, but the rest of the counter guys were not rude but appear very uninterested on their jobs. The location was good and the free breakfast was excellent. As for the Copacabana beach it was much cleaner and welcoming that the one on Ipanema. Uber taxis were very reasonable.
