"The staff was great every one of them. Breakfast was probably the best European style breakfast I ever had, with ala carte choices included. The building is a remodeled manor originally all stone. The new owner and the architects did a wonderful job restoring and modernizing the venue. The pool and spa are was nice as well and unexpected. Again, staff was great."

"Some parts of the room were in some rough shape (bathroom door not opening fully because was filled with water, some furniture had a lot of scratches) overall was a good stay, the staff was amazing, the Jacuzzi water was a lot below than the 34 degrees stated on the information board which ended up not being so pleasant as we expected "

"The most unique experience uopn arrival to the city center. Location is extremely walkable and was awesome for our first trip to Arcos de Valdevez. We needed help and the host was most gracious late at night to accommodate us. The unit was spacious and very clean. Parking can be limited on market day so should be able to walk the hills with ease, but we didn’t mind the exercise."

"We loved our stay at Peneda ecofarm. It is well located for walks in the National Park and only an hours drive from Porto's airport. There are several natural river pools to swim in with in a 30 minute drive of the accomodation. Which we were directed to by the owners. Our room was modern and fresh with a lovely balcony. The air conditioning was great for night time. The breakfast and evening meals were carefully prepared and delicious with fantastic local vino verde. The local town of Ponte Barca is ten minutes drive away and had some nice cafes and bars. We visited the beach at Viano do Castelo and enjoyed a walk around the old town. We had a lovely lazy day where we stayed at the accomodation and enjoyed the pool. I would definately visit this lovely accomodation and owner/ family again. "
