Room was Good, but Hotel staff didn't change bedsheets. They were reluctant to provide tea bags, milk and sugar sachets

Big let down for a Carlson group hotel..........

The hotel location is not good & sound proofing is pathetic. You get loud noises of traffic, trains running & also from other rooms. The washrooms are not well cleaned & bed linen was not bad too. Problem with car parking & lift too. Only saving grace was the hard working staff in the restaurant......... Overall an experience worth avoiding!

Best ever!!

Clean! Even a phone in the bathroom. Lighted walk-in closet.with tea pot inside! Shower head was huge, water was hot. Breakfast buffet was over the top.Best ever!!!

this will not be unfair to share experience: (1) Regarding food services, there is lot of difference between the cost of foods v/s quality/quantity. (2) Due to lower occupancy, breakfast being served on order basis instead buffet per arrangement causes lot of time consumption as well varities .

The hotel is conveniently located and the staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are well appointed but the bathrooms leave much to be desired. Breakfast was average.

Terribly Rundown

We were sold on the branding and it was a mistake. This property, located on the Haridwar Rishikesh highway, looked perfect stopover before heading to the higher hills-Gangotri! But this is a badly rundown property, poor management and rude staff. Rooms are cramped and balconies to rooms-which souded nice while booking, have now been shoddily enclosed into small cubicles so little light and ventilation. Restaurant is poorly managed, messy and food quality much below all expectations. Not recommended.

One of the nicest hotels in the Haridwar area

Enjoyed our stay here. Staff was attentive, courteous and concerned about their image. Room was of western standard - clean with all amenities. Breakfast was wholesome and delicious.

Ein angenehmes Hotel - leider etwas außerhalb

Wir haben uns sehr wohl im Hotel gefühlt, leider war die Anfahrt nach Haridwar recht weit, Tuktuk für 150 Rupien war täglich notwendig. Ein Schwimmbad wäre noch sehr angenehm gewesen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, kompetent und hilfsbereit. Die Ausstattung des Hotels und unseres Zimmers waren auf einem sehr guten Niveau.

Country Inn - Unsatisfactory

Efficient with the check in process. Staff were pleasant and tried their very best to assist. Kitchen staff/restaurant staff were polite. Electricity often fails and back up is turned on. This was a concern especially when having dinner. Bedspead were not changed but this was quickly resolved after we showed the staff the stained bedspread. Train lines were just at the back of the hotel so noise was a worry and sleep was a bit difficult especially after travelling for long hours. There was only 1 small lift which acommondated 4 people and we had to wait for long or had to walk the stairs from level 5. I chose Country Inn & Suites by Carlson for it's Quality in providing an excellent service but was dissapointed as expectations were not met.

Very clean & comfortable hotel. Charming & very helpful staff. Lovely restaurant with good variety of food. Only drawback is its very near a train line, so is a little noisy.

Country Inn & Suites - remote from the chaos.

The hotel is situated about 10mins drive from Har-Ki-Pairi Ghat and 15 mins from the town centre. Transport is therefore essential, without which the hotel quotes about Rs1200 to & from the Ghat. The immediate area consists predominantly of hotels and there is little choice of restaurent. Consequently a meal in the hotel is somewhat overpriced. Staff are pleasant and willing to assist in arranging trips etc and were happy to facilitate a late check out. We were fortunate to have been provided with a room upgrade on arrival.

Haridwar During Shiva Festival

Very colorful time to be in Hadridwar as the Shiva Festival is a major event in Aug...many, many people but hotels are not full because of the expense...Country inn and Suites is on main road so some noise...reccomend top rooms during this time. Hotel is clean and rooms somewhat mold free although hard to find totally free. Staff was anxious to please and the pricing was proper for this time of the season. Rooms are small....stay away from rooms in left back as they are near noisy airconditioning machinery...had to change rooms,
