"Beware… any favorable reviews of this establishment are most likely posted in a fraudulent attempt to overshadow the negative reviews. The room smelled of heavy cigarette smoke, the walls were dirty, fixtures look like they hadn’t been dusted in over 8 months; stained comforters and carpet; spider web in the corner; thin mattress on one bed. The heating /AC unit had very dirty coils and there was a mold stain on the ceiling. The microwave was missing its turn table and the refrigerator needed to be defrosted 6 months ago. Not sure of the safety at the location either. We were awakened at 2 am by someone shouting. Really check ALL the reviews before staying here."

"We showed up a little late and the staff was very helpful to check us in and get us parked. Very good location close to MSU."

"Check-in was easy. Room, and basically the whole place was clean. For me, it was perfect for it's pricing. That said, I couldn't really leave 5 stars because my bathroom ceiling was in the process of falling down, the indoor area with the pool, seating, and hallways were very poorly lit. It's just an old and very dated motel in need of a makeover, and it's hard to give that 5 stars, despite none of those things bothering me personally. I would attempt to stay in this motel every year for Stoopfest because the location is great. Very affordable ride services to and from this motel as it's only 8 minutes away. It's also surrounded by businesses, so if you need pretty much anything, you can get it nearby. Oh, I will note that the place can be loud. The rooms are arranged around the indoor pool, so when the kids wake up and start playing, and when their parents start yelling at them, you will probably not be sleeping in."

"The employees are all very nice and helpful. However, there seemed to be only one person working in the complimentary breakfast. I went down twice both mornings of our stay to find that the hot eggs, meat, and /or sausage gravy and biscuits were not refilled."
