"We enjoyed our stay here at the comfort Inn Hollywood. The breakfast was decent with eggs and sausage each day as well as muffins, bagels, yogurt, apples, waffles of course, and oatmeal. Room and place was really clean and the staff were awesome. The only complaint was that our rooms water pressure was a little light, and a bit noisy with street traffic going by. All in all a good deal for the price. Just know you have to pay for parking, but it is underground gated parking beneath the hotel so very safe. "

"I chose Glendale Express Hotel for its convenient location to the places we planned to visit for my husband’s birthday weekend. Unfortunately, the photos online do not accurately reflect how the hotel appears in person. Upon arrival, the staff was not very welcoming. We arrived a bit early for check-in and asked if we could leave our bags in the lobby area and use the pool while we waited. We were told no, since a room key is required to access the pool and keys are only issued at check-in. This was disappointing, as many hotels are willing to accommodate this especially for guests staying the entire weekend. We ended up leaving to spend time at the Galleria Mall instead. When we finally entered our room, there was a strong, unpleasant odor, and the bathroom smelled distinctly like wet dog. The beds were extremely uncomfortable, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. The rooms are in serious need of updates, including the wallpaper, ceilings, flooring, curtains, and mattresses. Even the hallways had a persistent musty smell. Prior to arrival, we were informed in writing that housekeeping services were available upon request. On Saturday morning, as we were heading out, I requested that our room be cleaned. I was told there was no one available to clean it, but someone could remove our trash. This was surprising and disappointing. I asked that four fresh towels at least be provided when the trash was collected. Unfortunately, we do not plan to return to this hotel."

"Very cozy comfy nice place! The entire place is like a bubble getaway from the city, while being in the middle of everything. It has an upscale Caribbean feel. Wonderful food and drinks, the bacon in the morning is more like a succulent cut of pork belly - a great thing! The decor is lovely, the bed is like a cloud, and the drinks are tasty. Always nice to have French wines on the list, which they do! AC is a mini-split that effectively cools the room. Not much is walkable in this area, unless you want to hike up to the observatory or go to Norms, but plenty to do within a 5-10 minute drive. Valet available for $38/night. For some reason they only provide one extra roll of toilet paper at a time. Soap, shampoo, conditioner is in the shower with handsoap at the sink. The pool is not swimmable but is a beautiful water feature. "
